Limited parking available when its busy. We were on top level with 2 flights of stairs. Bit of a challenge after a marathon.

Great location to walk to shops, friendly and helpful staff, facilities were clean and well maintained.

Thin wall to corridor and mould on shower curtain.

Really friendly staff who explained the history of the building. Very affordable and close to the train station and shops. The bed was ex ellent with crisp white sheets.

The building had recently changed owners, and the new management were still settling in, which meant that the restaurant was not open.

Interesting historic building. Very helpful staff.

    Not much

What a lovely overnight stay. I enjoyed the tour of the property and feeling like I was in history. The place was comfortable and can imagine will only improve. We also got a good deal, last minute deal on booking, so felt it was good value for money. Location was close to town, staff were friendly.

My husband and I found the room in need of some TLC. Our bed was too firm, but the electric blankets made up for the discomfort. The carpets are very old and worn out, not good for you have allergies. The friendly staff did tell us that it’s under new management and the lounge and dining room weren’t in use, but will be in the near future. All this won’t discourage us from coming back. We look forward to have a cocktail in the lounge sometime soon.

We enjoyed staying at the historical Leura House. Staff was welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. On our one night stay, the night was cold and we cosied up in our warm beds (electric blankets-bliss!) Our room was spacious and the girls slept well in their single beds. Best part is the close proximity to Leura town. Less than 10min. Safe to walk over to the restaurants, cafes and shops. We would love to see this place in winter when the snow falls on the grand lady- Leura House.

As Leura House is old it is a little tired and shabby but that didn't bother me as I loved the history of the place. A minor annoyance was only having shampoo and no conditioner for use in the bathroom.

N/A Breakfast not available. Staff were very helpful, considerate and friendly. I enjoyed the tour of the House and hearing of the history. Suggestions of cafes and restaurants in town were appreciated. Room was clean and I appreciated the upgrade to a larger room. The location is excellent.

There's no bar or restaurant facilities. Not much of an issue with Leura Mall 5 minutes walk away.

Just a beautifully kept historic home. Large rooms with high ceilings, elegant but relaxed communal spaces... Gives the real experience of old-world charm and comfort of the Blue Mountains. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, gave us lots of help when we had car trouble on the way out, made sure we were looked after. Thanks!

Nothing.😀We’ve always been interested in the history of the area and of Australia’s history so it’s been fascinating building on what we know.

Location was absolutely brilliant. It’s probably the best located hotel in Leura. Minutes to the high street. Minutes to the train station. No parking problems. A lovely old pub, the Hotel Alexandra a 4 minute walk. A 6 minute drive to Katoomba. Leura House is an absolute treasure trove of history of the Leura area. We learnt more this trip than we’ve ever learnt before. The owner/ manager gives you a guided tour of the house and is frightfully well informed of the houses history. And gave us wonderful tips on where to visit. Despite being a historic house our stay was very comfortable. The mattress in our room was super. And we had a wonderful sleep. The balcony in our room looked out over the garden with a very refreshing view. The lack of a restaurant in the hotel was no problem as it was only a few minutes walk to the Polar Bear restaurant in Leura High street where we ate a delicious gourmet pizza. And Leura Cafe where we had breakfast. The lounge downstairs has been extensively renovated and sported a comfortable area. We had brought a bottle of wine( bought inSydney) but we were horrified to discover it tasted awful.

The hospitality given on arriving and tour of the facility was excellent. The owner assisted in taking luggage to our room. The balcony room was great and with nice views, comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. Definitely planning a return trip.
