How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The house was open and spacious and accommodated 5 adults superbly. Great location, very quiet yet close to all shopping districts. The facilities provided were outstanding and we wanted for nothing!

I’d personally prefer a water jug and glasses to plastic water bottles but understand not everyone shares my view.
Great central location. Close to Queens Park and town. Lovely little welcoming touches - wine and chocolates on arrival. Cold water bottles in fridge.

The inside of the kettle was covered by blue stain(not sure if it is the cleanser used to sterilise the kettle?) Had to use the coffee machine to make hot water for tea.
The location is superb, and it's only a few minutes walk to shops. Very close to Queens Park and town centre. The property is very clean and well maintained. Beds are soft and comfortable. Kitchen is full equipped. Coffee machine is quite handy. The manager was very thoughtful and provided a drawing pad and crayons for the kids.

The quaint, cute heritage of the house is exactly as the photos show. It was a light, bright and comfortable home for our stay. The communication between owner and me has been excellent and welcomed.

We enjoyed everything about this lovely little cottage Extremely comfortable beds and sofas A well equipped kitchen and stocked pantry was welcomed as we cooked on both nights of our stay Being there over The Carnival of Flowers meant we were able walk 3 mins up the road to the parade AND we were treated to the fireworks from our living room Amazing 🤩 We have created some lovely memories in Toowoomba and the little house in the winter sun is apart of that Thankyou for the welcome gifts and for having us stay

Everything was excellent. The only suggestion would be information on how to operate electrical appliances in the home.
Excellent location with off street parking. Beds were very comfy and the wine and chocolates were a bonus. There was a problem with Netflix and Daniel came around straight away and fixed the problem. Would definitely book this accommodation again.

There was nothing to not like - more time to spend in Toowoomba would have been the only thing. Thanks Sadly I didn't take any photos of the home - but the photos online definitely does it justice.
The house was very welcoming - we absolutely loved the space, the location was just around the corner to the event we attended.. Lovely and quiet - we will be back. My Mum loved the warmth of the Doona on her bed lol I have shared with family and friends already the beautiful space..Thanks so much for this .. very much appreciated x

A tap in the laundry was slowly dripping which we couldn’t turn off.
Property was as advertised. Great layout, everything was easy to find and accessible. It was very light and bright. The beds were comfortable too. Glad there was ramp access.

There was nothing about this property we didn’t like.
Beautiful spacious, airy cottage. Quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of off street parking. Comfortable beds. The home has everything you could need for your stay and more, and for a great price. The owner was lovely to communicate with. The communication was clear and included all the information required, including how to gain entry, log in to WiFi and lock up. If we visit Toowoomba again we would definitely stay here if it is available.

The only thing I felt it lacked was a patio or verandah to sit as there is no outdoor seating.
