How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing. Maybe needs a sign for the lift. You go through a door which at first we thought might be stairs. Lift was then inside.
Check in and out was easy and staff super friendly on both occasions. We were given a free room upgrade to a river view which was a lovely surprise. Room has everything you need and very comfortable.

They can't do anything about this, but the parking access and location was really stressful and confusing.
The accommodation was perfect for my needs.

The clothes dryer is cheap and small and was broken, like the last time I stayed here. The washing machine wouldn’t work, as the door lock mechanism wouldn’t allow the cycle to commence Shower head was loose and wouldn’t stay innposition
The location is ideal for me,and the parking that accommodates my van is vitally importane

Not a criticism but personally I probably wouldn't choose this location without a vehicle. There was some rusting around the shower from water leaking.... not a cleanliness issue but more just a maintenance one. Also I dont know if there is a laundry above the room we stayed in but sounded and felt like a washer on spin cycle above which made light fitting in room vibrate and rattle loudly.
The room was comfortable and clean. The price was relatively competitive, especially when free parking factored in. There are restaurants and a supermarket right on your doorstep but we went to "Eat street" which is also close. We had breakfast at the new "Riva Kitchen" nearby which has a lovely location riverside.

We were disappointed to return one day to find someone parked in our designated space. However, a call to the after hours number saw a prompt resolution to the issue and it did not happen again.
Location is excellent and the accommodation well maintained and presented. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to our accommodation on arrival.

It’s a little tired and the ironing board kept collapsing - otherwise it was perfect!
Great communication, we checked in online, due to arriving after hours, the key was programmed in to pop out when you keyed in the code, great free secured parking and the apartment was lovely - greeted with the Air conditioner on which was a nice touch as it was quite warm! Great amenities with a grocery store, movie theatre, wharf and restaurants just a short stroll away!

I was not able to use the resident car parking. I need to use basement car parking and then walk towards my building/apartment.
We loved how convenient the property is situated in the Brisbane CBD, plenty of food and coffee/drinks options, nice relaxing view right next to the wharf/river.

No screens on the balcony doors was a bit weird. Had to keep them shut to keep insects out. But that’s a minor thing.
Great location. Great service. We booked at last minute and were an after hours check in and everyone was very helpful and the process was very smooth.

Nothing to dislike. Perhaps the green line in the car park needs to be redone especially at the entrance. I’ve stayed at the Links Wharf Apartments 4 times and still get a little lost at the entrance.
Location excellent. Very helpful and friendly staff member Lisa. Apartment spacious. On-site free parking. Excellent kitchen bathroom etc Quiet. Fantastic restaurants and cafes around and amazing IGA across the road.

Lift was slow. Directions to parking weren't fantastic but we were still able to find the carpark quite easily.
Location close to city cat and Eat Street but also a nice and quiet area. Enjoyed watching the boats on the river and the planes overhead. Room was very modern, really clean. Modern appliances and fantastic lighting. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were great.

Some small matters in the room. Washing machine overly complicated, I couldn’t find a simple spin cycle and no instructions. Drying rack far to small and cheap, and broken as well Tile in kitchen loose and needs to be stuck don again. Curtains in bedroom don’t overlap and the light coming in is right on the pillow
I had a need to arrive earlier than booked and my request was met excellently.

Excellent location for overnight stay before flight out of Brisbane airport as only 10 minutes drive. Good facilities in the apartment. Restaurants and Food shop very close by.

metal lip 2 cm high that was a trip hazard both at bathroom doorway and a step up into kitchen dangerous!!!
The big roomy apartment with a full kitchen and utensils made for good.meal prep. Well organised bathroom with excellent hot water. white towels.
