Great location, met all our expectations and would like to have stayed longer. Thanks Nancy and Will for the hospitality and many special treats. Loved the ‘Paris’ and ‘Red Geranium’ theme. Would have no hesitation in recommending this to our friends.

I loved everything about the stay.. the cottage.. the nature.. beautiful sunset by the lake.. and the peacefulness I felt the moment I stepped in.. It is so welcoming.. They had kept cute treats as well.. and I’m sure you will feel like you want to stay there more..

Gorgeous, comfortable cottage with incredible peace and tranquillity. What could be better than a glass of wine on the verandah watching the spectacular sunset? Such a wonderful place and generous hosts.

It was very peaceful, very private and relaxing. There were little treats for afternoon and morning tea. Some good things to add to a breakfast too. Fully well appointed and equipped kitchen, excellent for an extended stay. Comfortable living spaces inside and out.

We couldn’t find a local bottle of wine in the closest town, maybe provide a bottle of red/white in the cottage to purchase. Something to compliment the pizza. :))

Nancy and Will are perfect hosts. providing a lovely little cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting by a little lake. It’s so nice to watch the birds fly in and out of the yard and have the cows in the paddock. The cottage is well stocked for self catering, warm and cosy. The welcoming treats were a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend to others who would like a country getaway. It’s not far from the rail trails either.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the mattress was a bit too firm.

The cottage and the setting by the lake are absolutely brilliant. The hosts Nancy and Will are delightful and made us feel very welcomed indeed. The cottage was well equipped and really clean. All the rooms are really spacious and lovely to be in. The balcony provides for a very relaxed place to sit with the lake view. It is wonderful to be able to walk around the lake. We would definitely like to stay there again.

Would have loved better weather to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere and wildlife but that is certainly not a reflection on the hosts.

Really private, peaceful and comfortable. Everything you could need for a weekend away for 2. Lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful. Everything well set up and organised. So much natural light in the rooms during the day, yet when you want a sleep in the window coverings keep enough of this light out.

Lovely welcoming hosts who have gone above and beyond, and thought of everything needed for a comfortable and warm stay on a freezing very wet winter night. Beautiful outlook on to the lake and private peaceful setting. We travel a lot and this is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Thank you Nancy and Will we will certainly be back.
