Minimal night lights outside cottages and roads. Although torch was provided but an evening walk would be nice :)

Big patch of green grass with few farm animals to see. The bird and wind sounds were really soothing to hear especially at night when going to sleep. Breakfast hamper was generously packed with quality items.

No supplies other than tea, coffee etc. Lucky we took basics like bread, cereal, milk, butter etc otherwise it would have been a trip into town as soon as we arrived.

Location was lovely and cottage very comfortable and bird seed supplied for the locals.

2nd bedroom isn't a bedroom, it's in the lounge! So privacy is an issue, or if someone gets up early. Tight parking for large vehicles but manageable.

Location is peaceful and breathtaking, people are lovely! Big bathroom and great kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Just a couple of cleanliness things, my two year old found old chips under the couch (like hot chips) which was a bit gross. Just a more thorough clean needed to pick up on those things but otherwise well kept

Musty smell. Bathroom and kitchen were dated and tired despite mini face-lift- they were functional but let the cottage down a little. TV too small and in an odd corner so we never bothered . Bed in main area an outdated idea...luckily only 2 of us staying so not a problem. No dishwasher meant plates etc not cleaned well by previous occupant.Maintenance inside for fans,blinds and paintwork with screen cleaning/repairs needed.

Comfortable bed and living area. Great views. Quiet and private. Relaxing. The owners have clearly put effort into updating the cabins and they have potential for further improvement to make them deluxe.

The only con, which was uncontrollable from the staff, was that we had to leave a day early due to the flooding and storms happening during summer. Just something to be aware of during storm season was that we did struggle to get back down the mountain once it had started to flood. To the staffs benefit they worked hard to keep the generators always on so we always had power. No other issues we enjoyed our stay greatly, even if it was cut slightly short with a bit of weather drama we would highly recommend this place.

We were in the Cassowary cottage, right at the end with our own little archway entry, super private and such a well taken care of cottage. The location of this place is breathtaking, the anniversary/breakfast hamper was so lovely; they included fresh eggs from the chickens, bacon, bread and juice. The birds would stop by in the morning when you'd leave some feed out, we sat on the balcony with our morning coffee and watched the birds and the alpacas, it was akin to a Disney movie. We brought our dog and we loved taking her for walks around the property to see the alpacas and the horses, I think that was my favourite part, the black horse is very sweet and friendly. The spa bath was lovely and it still worked considering the power outage from the storms. The staff were generally quick to get back to any concerns or questions we had. Honestly the best place I've ever stayed and would be lucky to have the opportunity to go again (just not maybe during storm season!)

Attention to cleaning detail inside was not to standard. Dirt and dust behind furniture and bed, lamp shades, switches, art on wall over bed covered in dust. Ants in spa bath may be coming in through the filters. Kitchen a little run down. Bathroom could use a makeover. If bath salts selection is offered in the toiletries then please fill them up for each new guest (one of the 3 was just about empty). Just the special things people are expecting to find were disappointing, especially as this cottage was classed as the superior more expensive one.

Beautiful location. Tranquil and peaceful. The cottage catered nicely for a relaxing break close to town amenities.

Beautiful property in a great location, close to all the local attractions of Mount Tamborine and the Gold Coast. Lovely staff, beautiful birdlife, and comfortable accommodation. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We would love to return, and we recommend the cottages to families, couples, and friend groups alike.
