The person greeting guests did not speak English. It was very cold at night and the aircon didn't fully heat up the room.

mould in the bathroom. tv remote didn’t work properly. graffiti on the building. only staff I saw was the cleaner. 3 night stay and only enough tea, coffee, milk and sugar for not even one night and not topped up.

Property is old and could use a refresh. There was some grafitti in public areas.

Convenient location, was available at short notice, good size room with separate bed for our son and kitchen. Room was clean.

The parking lot was a tricky one. it was made easy because there were so few cars. it would have been awful to get in and out if it was full. the crockery in the cupboard was scrappy.

it was good value for the price. There were very few people there,but lots of birds around the property. The bed was comfortable.

We paid 540 dollars for 2 night stay for accommodation that is a 1 star. The accommodation is not at a standard to be charging that price of money. It is an extremely basic motel. While it was clean and the location was a short drive from lorne overall it is overpriced for what it offers

The room was too cold and there was no possibility to heat it. At least there were additional covers. In the morning it was very loud due to other people passing by the rooms and the birds.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Everything needed was there including a small kitchen and water cooker. The location is very good - near the main city center and the beach. The comparison of price to quality is not overwhelming but still ok.

we hardly slept due to the room above must have had their hot water outlet dripping onto the outside our room on an iron roof or ledge as was vey loud.unable to advise hosts as door was shut when we checked out

I arrived mid afternoon and the hotel recep[tion was unmanned and I needed to phone a local number to get booked in. As an overseas traveller this is non-ideal as my Mobile Service Provider charges an bog fee for everyday I use my phone - even for a 3 minute local call :-(. My room was on the top floor and I don't think there was an elevator. Do't pock a top f;oor rom if you need to carry a big bag or suitcase up to it!

The location is good, to the East of the town centre. The property had limited facilities, but this was well compensated by the Microwave, Toaster and Kettle in the room. As I wanted to get a fairly early start I used these to make breakfast in my room.

Bed could be more comfy. The caravan park was quite noisy (not the fault of the venue but a note for others).

Location was good, didn’t have to walk up hills. Everything in town was walkable (max 13 min walk away). It was very clean.

Couch was so uncomfortable we could not sit on it. Plates from previous person staying were washed but not dried and out straight back in the cupboard wet. Other 2 plates were dirty. Tea towel was ashes but not dry and we could not dry plates. Previous person left drinks in fridge and it was not cleaned.

Bed a good size and comfortable. Microwave in room. Great location and close to pub.

The accomodation is unfortunately very tired and in need of some updating. Everything worked, it was just all very old. Expensive ($270/night) for what is about roadside motel standard. Wasn’t a long weekend or holidays or peak season (late March) so not sure why it was so expensive. Perhaps that’s just Lorne.

Staff very helpful and quick to respond. Could tell they were doing their best and all they could do to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Very tidy and clean room, excellent location.

There was only 1 bowl and one fork for the two of us.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area was handy to some good eateries that were within walking distance. It was quiet.
