can’t arrive too late and was a bit stressed about our delays at the airport but they were very understanding

such a good value, lots of little attentions, like water on each bedside tables already filled, teas and coffee for breakfast and organic ones, recommendations for dinner, everything super clean and they have a lovely dog

The dogs jumped on us and it was not a seperate entry to the house. The listing said pets might come and say hi but they were barking at us and jumped on us. Made us feel uncomfortable. Booked another place and didn’t check in the property.

You must be a Vegan to stay. The Double Room didn’t accommodate 2 pieces of luggage as it was so small and very crammed and cluttered. The entrance pathway could do with a sweep. A bath mat would be appreciated.

No lock on the bedroom door.

It was wonderful to find this accommodation at short notice. It IS a home stay - literally a room in a house, with a fridge and table fitted in. My room was small - bed comfortable, and basically all I needed.

The owner seemed to hover a little Dogs were cute but house was a little doggy (smell) or tried to be covered with incense I’m not a full practicing vegan and have vegan days/ planned to respect owners vegan friendly home but she appeared to always be around and almost waited to check my things when I brought them in. Owner rarely closes/ locks back door (main entrance for guests) and there was no lock on the individual bedrooms

Awful and poor attitude! I made the booking prior to flying into Tasmania on a business trip thinking the place sounds so lovely with high reviews and placed request on my late arrival (10pm) in my booking and I was already making my way to the airport when the property owner asked me to cancel within 15 minutes which was not possible as i was making my way to the airporr (I didnt see the til later only after i arrived the airport). She refused to take me in saying the ad stated its 8pm latest check in but I have put in special request when I made the booking so if she can't take me in she should have immediately rejected my booking instead. Yet she decided to take my money. If she cancelled my booking the room would have been freed out for others to book. There's always exceptional case under specific circumstances but as the business name says lovely budget vegan home, its not true nor lovely at all. I would have my reservations with someone who took the money without actually fulfilled what's being offered in exchange. I had paid for something I didn't use at all just because I miss the no check in after 8pm even after leaving special request that could have been noticed first thing when the booking was made. Disappointing!

I had a flight cancellation so couldn't make it for the first night. Then work schedule was rearranged so cancelled the third night. The owner would not consider a refund - she was very concerned about my cancellations, complaining in our communication how she had to pay her mortgage from her hosting income, UNTIL she realised I had already paid and therefore she wouldn't be losing any income. At which point she quickly pointed out she "couldn't" provide a refund as I hadn't given 48 hours notice.

Incredible, generous breakfast - far exceeded my expectations, and very thoughtful selection on offer. Warm, comfortable bedroom.

That no privacy in room during day - door left open after cleaning - anyone could walk in and help themselves. One night I came out of bathroom and a man and a child were about to walk into room about 9.30pm. Long arguments with owner when she came - he said had paid and she must find a bed for them. Next night something set the 2 dogs off howling and barking between 9-10pm. think the neighbours might have complained.

The host was really rude When I use the basin in the second toilet to wash two cups just minutes before we checked out and slashed the door hardly. She didn't mention that we cannot use the basin. Not recommend

Terrible experience. The host was not willing to accomodate our late check in request for 10pm, even when we advised that we were already en route. The host charged for the entire stay despite us not being able to use the place. I'd avoid.
