How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. They left items for us (like suncream) in the cupboard which was incredibly helpful. The sunrise through the windows in the morning was incredible to watch.

Except for the pillows, and there is no aircon on the bedrooms which. makes them very hot.
Excellent, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and some lovely extras from the owner. The view was amazing, and the level 41 are was massive.

The pool isn’t heated. It was very cold.

Access from the carpark with a wheel chair was a bit of a pain but we worked around it

The manager Paul was 10 out of 10 !!! Replied to every single message we sent him almost instantly. He even organised for our luggage to be stored on our last day in Melbourne so we can spend the day exploring. It's the best when you can deal directly with the person managing the apartment Cheers Peter
Very clean apartment and great facilities. Awesome views 👍 could see the MCG from apartment. I highly recommend this place.

There was nothing to dislike. It was so special 10 mins away from the south bank promenade
This was an amazing property, right from where we picked up the keys, to the parking, the breath taking views, the cleanliness, the space within the apartment including the finishes, , the gym, the continental breakfast, the value for money , the location, its one of the best apartments we have stayed in. It was a very special occasion and the special apartment exceeded our expectations

We loved the views from this spacious apartment. It was in a very central location, had everything we needed. The communication was excellent. We would love to stay there again.

A few more cups/mugs but minor detail.
This super luxury apartment is on the 32nd floor with incredible views of Melbourne from all the rooms . We appreciated the sparkling wine and goodies on arrival . Everything was thought of , sunscreen , swim towels, laundry soap, fans etc Beds were very comfortable . We used the pool and gym too which were decent . Walking to everywhere including the AO tennis .

Everything was perfect . A beautiful view from a high floor . Comfortable beds and a big comfortable lounge. The chocolates and biscuits were a nice addition. Very spacious and clean .

The apartment was very clean but had a few black marks on the carpet. Lifts were always busy so sometimes long wait times but other than that, awesome stay and would book again.
The views were amazing!! The apartment was clean, furnished well, beds were comfy and amenities great too. Used the well equipped gym but the pool was a little cool for us.

Lifts were slow due to maintenance taking 1-2 out of action
Beautifully furnished & tastefully decorated. Exceptionally clean with a convenient location. Correspondence with the host was excellent - Paul was incredibly efficient in responding. Highly recommend.

Location and View was amazing! It was really sweet that the host provided some necessities in the room! Everything was easily accessible! The building is nice and secure! Comparing it to a hotel it was spacious and the value for money aspect was awesome!

Loved everything, only one tiny thing missing was tissues, everything else was beautifully catered for.

Car park was on the 6th level but it was easy to access the carpark from a rear lane and was included in the price and not an additional cost.
Great location. Large Woolworths supermarket across the street. Apartment was very well equipped. Host also supplied basics like milk, packets of cereals, chocolate biscuits and a welcome bottle of champagne which was a nice surprise.
