How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was nothing we criticise. The living space had real plants which is always much nicer than fake ones!
The apartment furniture was very comfortable. The king beds were perfect. We slept so well! We were 5 mn walk from Ocean and 10 mn walk to main shop strip. The kitchen even had a coffee machine and the TV was fantastic! The outdoor area was spacious, comfortable and had a BBQ. There was even a baby bath! The decor was charming!

A small detail but for me the lounge suite was a little uncomfortable. My husband sat on it leaving the armchair and stool for me.
Great location! Gorgeous apartment, spotless with a beautiful fragrance upon entry. Large bed, very comfortable. Entertainment system was A1 Undercover parking with excellent lighting reassured us that our vehicle was secure. Well presented.

Not a single thing!
Everything! This is truly a beautiful apartment with gorgeous furnishings. We were so sad we only had a night to enjoy it as Peta and her team have created a really special space to relax and enjoy the area. Our bed & bedding was so comfortable that getting out of it was hard!!

The rooftop pool spilled over onto our outdoor area all weekend making it unusable

Shame there is clearly a water leak from the upper apartment into the main ensuite ceiling and also a leak from the main bathroom into the hallway. Possibly a water proofing issue. The result is a bit of a musty smell in the main bathroom.
Brand new apartment that had everything you could possibly want. Beds were comfy and we very much appreciated the air conditioners in all rooms during a very hot weekend. Bathrooms are lovely and beautifully appointed. All of the little extras were a nice surprise. Lots of cooking pans and options. Fabulous little courtyard with many sitting options and private side entrance.

Location was amazing short stroll to Main Street and the property was delightful, everything you needed was thought of. Apartment was clean and beds were so comfortable, sheets were divine to sleep I.

The Kitchen and living area was beautifully presented but the layout of those areas were not very practical. Have not thoufht about how it really wokrs. For example, food preparation area was not close to the stove, the kettle and toaster and the stive were all in one space where the storing of tea leaves , coffe machine was inside a cupboard. The TV was facing one single couch and the 2 seater was on the other side. Since it has comfortable bedding for 4 adults and extra bedding as well, the couch and the seating should atleast have seating dor 4. I struggled with opening the front key lock and had to come through the back gate every time during our 3 nights stay. The back key lock was also not easy to open and put the key in as well. Water in the bathrooms took sometime to heat up. Unfortunately I had to come out of the shower as it was cold. Would prefer a place where there is a spa or can assure a hot shower.
Location couldn't have been better. Superb location.Access to the beach and shops were both a short walk from the apartment. Beautiful neatly presented apartment. Bedding was so comfortable and ideal for a sleepin on a holiday. All cuttlery and crockery were there for a good stay. Parking was available too. The interior colour and decor was suitable for a relaxing stay.
