How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

there is smell coming from the toilet/bathroom area, a bit like a sewerage smell. It is not strong, but we all noticed it.
location is excellent, beds comfy. House very clean.

The garden was in need of work. Obviously it suffered from the heat the previous week. Everything else was great.
Great location. Plenty of room. Very well presented.

We would have liked a dishwasher. Everything else was certainly adequate.
Location to the main street for dining. Being able to walk the very short distance. House was very clean & felt very private with the cottage gardens surrounding the property.

Pretty Perfect, I dont think there is much you would do different. You can fit a family easily, have a BBQ in the outdoor area, 2 living areas , decent kitchen and clean.
Location is perfect for wandering the main centre of Tanunda. It is really quiet yet right next to the rotunda and park. Easy to get to. I threw a load of washing in as there was washing powder and tumble dried them just cos I could!! The Makeup Hand towels were such a great thing to have so i didnt worry about if I was leaving marks.

I think there may have been a possum in the roof, was making a bit of a racket at times during the night! At times there was a bit of an unpleasant smell in the backyard, whether front 1918 restaurant behind, or a septic that needs emptying soon? Not the whole time, but something that would be good to address?
location, lovely garden, so clean, everything I needed. good wifi, the TV’s were excellent quality and there was internet access to Netflix and YouTube if wanted. Short walk to good restaurants, cafes, supermarket and chemist. Right off Main Street in Tanunda. Beds were very comfortable, good entertaining areas. wine and chocolate and vouchers for discount at local eatery provided.

The only negative was the street outside was very dark at night one of our group tripped on the uneven pavement.

Very well equipped home, comfortable beds and great location - super convenient for wineries plus a great pub across the road. The hosts were also very communicative and made check in/out a super simple process. Our thanks for a lovely weekend!

The comfort level of the lounges and seats. They were not comfy, quite hard to sit on.

BBQ could had been bigger than the Baby Q,. Bit small for 4 people to prepare food on.
Relatively large house, 4 bedrooms with 2 separate living areas. Small outdoor area for cooking. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Within metres of a bakery and a couple of hundred metres from Foodland, coffee shops, restaurants etc.

the house was spotlessly clean, the location was was within of walking distance of the township and the welcome gift of wine and chocolates was greatly appreciated .Our host Natasha accommodated our request of an early check in due to a restaurant booking - which meant we could unpack and then walk to the restaurant
