Only thing is that you cannot cook in the room, as there is no microwave or anything available. You do get a fridge through, so drinks are kept cold.

Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Mantra is situated across from the water, and is walking distance to shops, restaurants and the city. Room was clean and quite .

There were very few electric sockets which was quite awkward when you have cameras and phones, etc to charge.

It was very comfortable and had quite good cooking and laundry facilities. There were Cole's and Woolworth supermarkets nearby to buy everything we needed. As we were checking out very early in the morning, the receptionist gladly arranged a taxi the day before to take us to the airport.

The step in shower over the bath was a big problem for us. I found it slippery and unsafe to be stepping in and out of.

Location and size were great, great to have a kitchen, living room, dining room and laundry in bathroom. We also loved having a balcony that faced the ocean.

It’s a bit dated, but the advantages of the property make up for it.

Spacious, we had 3 bed apartment for family of 5. Beautiful view.

swimming pool not open despite being told it would open tomorrow, but tomorrow never came. After staying 3 nights the pool was still green with algae on the day we left. We were offered a swim in the next door backpackers as a substitute but this meant walking around Mitchell street to get to the entrance. Not great for a high end hotel chain.

Not so much a don't like, but be aware the kitchen is closed. But there are HEAPS of cafes and restaurants nearby. Coles and Woolies as well.

Big, comfortable and had enough room for all of us. Has a kitchen with full size fridge. 2 bathrooms which is great for families. Washer and dryer too.

The noise from the extraction fan in the bathroom was excessive and unpleasant. We had to never turn on the light because it would drone on for ages afterwards and was too loud in the bedroom. The air conditioner was also unpleasantly noisy and therefore couldn’t be used at night (given Darwin’s temperatures this made sleeping difficult).

Room was a decent size and the location was great. Check in was easy and the staff really helpful, our flight arrived hours before check in and they held our luggage and phoned us when the room was ready (still several hours before the official check in time).
