We loved everything- our room was beautiful and our fire was going when we come back from dinner. The owners went above and beyond to make us welcome and ensure we were happy

There could have been a small round table and chair in the bedroom for our evening meal. After a long day sight seeing it was more comfortable to have our meal privately instead of in the share dining room.

The complimentary breakfast was ample for a light breakfast and of good quality served in a separate dining room. The decor was traditional with 'Old world' charm.

Path to the second guest bedroom side entrance is an addition through the side garden so would be muddy in the rain. We were offered the front door so wouldn't be a real problem!

Aesthetics very appealing. Room a little small but it fitted n two comfy sofa chairs, wonderful fireplace and breakfast table. Bathroom sparkling and newly renovated. Terrific breakfast and nice little outdoor spot for reading etc.

A very comfortable nice room. The location was good and within walking distance of town and the "Nut". The hosts provided a nice Continental breakfast and were helpful.

Everything was perfect. The King bed was spacious and very comfortable. The room and the whole house was decked out in very tasteful antique furniture. There was the option of a fire or heater in our room and the room was large enough to contain 2 lounge chairs and a table and chairs.. The bathroom was spacious , modern and even had floor heating. It was close to all amenities in Stanley. The breakfast we had was continental, which was included in the price. We filled out the options including a preferred time and in the morning our fruit , yoghurt , cereal , coffee and toast were all beautifully presented in antique crockery in the dining room. Amanda and her family were lovely. Seriously we had started here on our trip, and I can not see this being bettered

This is the best place to stay in all of Tasmania. There is absolutely nothing that could be improved on. It is beautiful, comfortable, and worth every penny. Amanda is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make your stay special and memorable. The continental breakfast is delicious too! Thank you for having us!

The Mariner Rose is a lovely place to stay. It is well located, parking out the front and very cosy. The owners have put a lot of thought in to the details so nothing was lacking. Highly recommended.
