How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very close to next room and door wasn't soundproofed so I heard a lot of noise walk and some small talk from people outside.
Clean facility and interior was clean but there was small stain spot on blanket.

Bunk bed a bit too small very 2 people to sleep together. No air conditioner which can be not ideal in hot summer or cold winter.

The advert was in accurate as I chose the room so I could sleep separately from my children. It's said two bunk beds which to me is 4 single beds. On clarifying I was told it was the same room as was described in the other option - a double with a single on top. Not having a headrest for the double meant my pillow kept falling on the floor.
Clean and with kitchen and close to airport with parking too. When we turned up we saw there was a sofa bed so one child used her sleeping bag there and I got a bed to myself before a long flight after all!

It was quite noisy as people checked in very late at night and it certainly was not soundproof. A bit hard to get some sleep but other than that it was fine.

The room was noisy from the road. The external door lock locked me out with all the necessary information inside, luckily another resident arrived and was able to help me. I didn’t receive my message informing me of my room number until the next morning, thankfully I was able to call the management and they sent me the room number.

Private bathroom was across the hallway not in room. Few hairs in the shower and no hot water, with limited pressure. This was not raised with host due to arriving late/early leaving.
Location good in regards to use of public transport, good for overnight to airport. Car parking available which was convenient.

Shower water flow was poor. Mattress not very comfortable
Nice and clean and tidy. easy to check in and out. Close to public transport and shops. Free to use laundry facilities. Quiet location. Great facilities provided with full kitchen and seating., clean fridge/freezer available.

Nothing, Broadmeadows is a bit out of the way of everything but close enough to the airport for a short stopover.
The host was very accommodating when having to change my bookings, the room and bathroom clean and modern. comfy bed.

The road noise but the ear plugs did help.
We chose property due to proximity to the airport, and this was excellent. Clean basic room. Very well equipped shared kitchen. Free laundry facilities. Walking distance of a few shops. Provision of ear plugs - very useful in dealing with the road noise. Excellent value for money.

It's on a very busy road and finding it in the dark was a bit tricky as the number isnt lit up (although it was lit up on the door but I was trying to follow numbers on the gates ) the carpark was in total darkness too. Thin walls which made it a bit noisy but for the price it was still a good stay
Extremely clean , comfortable beds with an assortment of soft and harder pillows , easy to find one that suited perfectly. Clean shower and towels , communal kitchen and lounge very clean and well organised. Super handy for the airport . Great keyless entry to both the building and the apartment.

There's a lot of road noise, there's no air conditioning, the area is very run down and the local shopping mall is very basic.
Its close to Melbourne airport. It's got off street parking at the rear
