Everything was fine.

The place had everything we needed, including a fire place. It was very clean and spacious. Good breakfast was provided. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. A bottle of white wine found in the fridge was a very nice touch. The back verandah overlooks the dam and vineyard. We will be back.

Location was central to the local wineries and restaurants. Hosts we very friendly and approachable. The pool was amazing. It was great to see the kangaroos in amongst the vines in the morning. The breakfast and wine provided were excellent. The accommodation was really well equipped, homely and the beds were super comfortable.

10/10 recommend! We had the Cabernet Cottage and it was absolutely fantastic - the estate is beautiful, the cottage is so thoughtfully and lovingly furnished and decorated and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a a great cookout. The pool is fun and we saw kangaroos between the vines when strolling over the estate. We even did a wine and cheese tasting on arrival which I recommend!

Regrets that my stay was only for 3 days.

Quiet , serene location. With a country vibe. Walking the vines , early morning was a nice way to start the day. Time in a salt pool at midday was a welcome retreat from the Hunter warmth.

Really comfortable for two couples. Great decking area for a wine and cheese afternoon. We highly recommend the Rosé from the cellar door :)

Nothing negative to say about our stay at McCaffrey's.

My friend and I loved our stay at McCaffrey's Estate which was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The cabin was what we imagined, had everything, clean, cute and so cozy especially with the fireplace on cold nights. They also have their own winery to visit and taste. The host Danielle was so lovely, welcoming which made us feel so at home with a lovely bottle of wine, bacon, eggs and bread for breakfast the next morning. The position of McCaffrey's was in a perfect location, still close to all shops, wineries, attractions etc., but still had that beautiful quiet nature country feeling. If you are looking for that quiet relaxing atmosphere, I would recommend McCaffery's.

Location was fantastic, the estate was beautiful. The cottage was neat and well appointed. The toys that Danielle provided was the best part for us. Our little one had a great time! Fresh breakfast supplies as well. And the complimentary wine bottle was a nice touch. Danielle was a kind host and communicated very well.

Located on a beautiful estate in the heart of the HunterValley. The cottage was well appointed and the grounds beautiful. We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding and had a wonderful time. The staff were both friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

Honestly everything was great! But if I had to nit pick, the kitchen table was really sticky. Even after a good wipe down. I think it could do with a good sand and varnish. But it really wasn't a big problem at all.

We loved all of the personal touches. There was nothing we went without. It felt like home away from home. The free firewood and ice creams, the little blankie draped across the crib, the board games and baby toys. It made our trip easy! We were never bored

This property is beautiful! The views of the vineyards on each side of the house are beautiful. The house is comfy, cosy and clean. We wished it had’ve been a little colder so we could have put the fire on! But the electric blankets were perfect. Danielle left us some wonderful treats of which we were appreciative of! Can’t wait to go back!

Danielle and Declan were fabulous hosts. The cabins were full of everything we needed to make the stay comfortable; sufficient towels, extra blankets, electric blankets, bread, bacon, eggs, cereal, milk, spreads, coffee pos machine, soap, shampoo, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment, cleaning supplies etc . Plenty of firewood for the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit. Wines were amazing, and the stories that went with them were even better!
