We found it odd that we had such a negative reception when we checked in. We understand that maybe some guests leave the units in an untidy manner - but being told to make sure that no mess is left behind we found rather off putting

We loved our stay at our cottage, it had everything we needed and the view across the lake at the front of the property was idyllic.

We stayed in Villa3 which is a four bedroom. The bedroom at the ground level had many spiders and was not able to use that bedroom. so we were only able to use 3 bedrooms instead of 4. I hope it is treated and maintained in future.

The location was superb and close to all ameneties.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

I loved the location, it was a nice walk along the boardwalk into town. The place was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped including a dishwasher and washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and the property and surrounds were very well kept. I would recommend a meal at the pub if you want a night off from cooking.

Nothing, we were extremely happy with the whole experience.

We loved everything about McMillan's. The accommodation was clean and very roomy. It's set in beautiful surroundings, a nice leisurely walk to the village along the water on the board walk and we had a lovely nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Great communication from McMillan's with everything to do with our booking. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

Very clean Villa 10. Extremely clean shower/bathroom. Bed linen etc were excellent. Easy access to local cafes and short drive to Lakes Entrance.

The mosquitoes. Some of the kitchen baking trays needed to be replaced, & we needed to buy extra toilet paper & oven mitts. We think they should have been supplied.

The villa was amazing and the facilities with the games room especially was a big hit with the kids. The place was super clean and tidy and there was plenty of room to move around. It was great.

I was a little disappointed at having to clean the outdoor tables and chairs on the balcony before being able to use them I think the cleaners should make sure these are apart of their cleaning schedule before guests arrive

The villa suited us perfectly it was comfortable and well equipped and accomodated the 7 of us perfectly.The grounds of McMillans were beautifully manicured and sitting on the balcony in the peaceful surroundings listening to the birds whilst having breakfast with my family was very special. It was well situated if you wanted to walk or drive to the local shops and Metung Pub. 20 mins to Lakes Entrance in the car The games room was the nicest games room I've seen..very Hamptons vibe..white shutters,lovely sitting area,pool table,table tennis table,air hockey, wooden naughts and crosses and chess sets We used the tennis courts as well

The bed sheets on the king bed were queen sheets and did not cover the doona completely.

Lovely homely feel to the accommodation. James was delightful and very knowledgeable about the town. The beds were comfortable and they had provided everything you need and more. Although we did not use the games room, it was very cosy, clean and welcoming with chess, air hockey, a reading section, arcade games and more. An ideal holiday resort for families and couples alike. We would be happy to stay there again.

So nice for it not to be built up still so much space bush grounds etc didn't feel like anyone else was there.

The only very small thing was the hot water service of the neighbouring cottage was right outside the window of the kids room. People next door came back at 11pm one of the nights and proceeded to use the tap of course, every time it turned on or off it was a loud knocking sound right out the window. Normally i wouldn’t mention such a thing but almost made me go over and ask them to stop using the taps! Not enough to ruin the property or stop us from recommending, but just something to note.

We had no.10, perfect for our family of two young kids (1 & 3 yr olds). Stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed a whole week, grounds are immaculate and facilities, pool and games rooms are great.
