No breakfast required as the people we met there supplied breakfast to us. The accommodation was expected as they were as per photos. Their beer was cheap.

Maybe the friendly staff, but otherwise not that much to like. Not even the price. The room was clean as far as this was possible and fortunately the bed was ok.

It is a place to rest your head overnight. Noise level - trucks rolling through town during the night as property is positioned right on the highway. Feral cats running around the property, across the roof and making noise. Room and facilities poor - holes in the ceiling. Dated equipment. While bathroom appeared clean, would not use bathroom without shower shoes.
Location - the property was located in town, on the highway. Within walking distance of pub and historical walk. Staff were friendly enough and called to confirm booking and arrival time. Carpark was as secure as possible with the gates closing from 10pm to 6am.

What breakfast. This is a very old hotel, and although the room was basically clean, there was a lot of red dust along the skirting floor boards, one hand size towel to dry yourself after a shower. No shower mat to stand on whilst you shower, and I am talking about the cotton type of mat and not the plastic type which was used. Shower floor was mot cleaned after my first morning shower and requested two towels for the second morning. This was provided. First nights meal was fair but not fantastic.

The staff were very helpful. The options offered were also helpful. The shutting of the gates to protect the car at night from street people was most appreciated.
