Megabooom delivers traveller accommodation that is affordable, comfortable, clean and professionally managed. Provision of in room, or access to a central microwave would be welcome.

Location for access to public transport bus, train and light rail all connecting to ferries.Transport NSW OPAL card highly recommended or credit card can be used. Location for city shopping, cafes, bars, restaurants, and convenience stores. Great wool/ handcrafts store further along York St worth a visit. Location for theatres and other central attractions. All round package. Ideal for travellers with an itinerary of activities to explore Sydney.

It is a shame to say that the place is not worth ten points, but after the stay there I received a message (that I never received before from any Booking hotel), saying that if I scored them with 10/10 they would give me $20 back. The truth is that it is unfortunate and they don't need it because the place is really excellent, but with actions like these, they subtract instead of adding.

For what is meant to be a budget hotel, I didn't think it was particularly good value for money.

The main benefit of this hotel is location. Facilities are basic and the rooms are small. Okay for one or two nights only.

The location was perfect, we managed to walk easily to the harbour and around the CBD. Good access to public transport, shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good value for money.

This property is designed for short stays. If you are looking for room to spread out, a full kitchen, pool/spa/gym etc, spend more or go further afield.

Breakfast is basic eg toast, coffee, hot chocolate etc, but hits the spot. Rooms are small but fully furnished hotel-style with full bathroom, kettle, mini-bar fridge. Very clean. Comfortable beds, limited seating due to room size. Helpful staff. Luggage storage prior to or after checkout. Family and tourist friendly. Would also be good if attending a work conference. Nothing sleazy. Easy walking distance to Town Hall and St James rail stations, plus light-rail station at Queen Victoria Building which will quickly get you to Circular Quay. Lots of shopping facilities, plus mini-eateries to full restaurants surround this very central location. Pricing is excellent given centralised location.

Main detraction was the noise and vibrations from trains. Room well presented but carpet was grubby and stains on wall and cupboard top. Staff pleasant enough but perfunctory.

Good location. Close to shopping. Easy to get to train station and Circular Quay by tram. Good area with toilet to wait for room to be ready or after check out waiting on transport.

The room was not very big so that finding space to open luggage was hard work. The bed was a bit hard and squeaky and a little bit big for the allocated space, so that one of us had to climb over the bed to get in and out.

It is very centrally positioned, handy to city sites, good shops and eating places.
