It was sometimes hard to get in contact with the front desk to be provided with more linen or toiletries but when we did eventually get to speak to them it was always a pleasant experience!

We loved how simple and accessible the property was. It also felt very safe and local to everything that we needed!

The only downside is the air conditioning. It seemed to have a mind of its own (you can't turn it off) and felt very dry on our throats. After four days, it was a little annoying. But a minor downside compared to how great this place is!

We really enjoyed our stay at Melbourne Suites. The team were super friendly. They helped us to check in early and couldn't have been more helpful. The location is ideal – it's so easy to walk to everything you need. The rooms are also huge. For the cost, it's significantly better than other options you'll find in the area.

Room had 2 queen beds. 1 with a doona the other only had a blanket. Was chilly in this bed with no optional extra blanket available. Lighting was a little dim.

Air circulation had issues. We got a lot of cigarette smoke smell and cooking smells in the toilet. The kitchen could do with an upgrade . Sofas need better cushioning. They should offer room clean up service atleast once in 2/3 days.

we were cold at night and had to combine blankets/ doona from the two beds onto the queen bed we slept in. we looked in cupboards for extra blankets but there were none. Mentioned this to staff in the office and they said they would rectify this.

Layout of the 2 room apartment. Bedroom was well separated from the lounge/living area. Was located right in the heart of the CBD with lots of tram services very close.

The location was fantastic, The Manager was very helpful with us needing to park our van onsite for 3 days. Comfy beds, very spacious. Very good value.

Misleading, was not informed that it shared the same location as Mantra at Little Bourke.

The room was spacious, with separated area for cooking & dining, and bedroom. Kitchen was adequately equipped to prepare simple meal. Condiments like oil, salt and pepper were not provided, but that’s wasn’t an issue for us. Bathroom was very spacious, stall for shower and bathtub. Toiletries like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand was, and lotion are provided.

Our room 315 was right next to the plant room which was very noisy. The pillows were very high and hard which made it difficult to sleep.

The suite was very spacious and clean. The location was terrific. Walking distance to all points of interest.

The customer service was confusing as the hotel reception and online service were different people with different information. But they are really nice and have quick replies so all good.

The room was clean and had all of the facilities that one needed. A big bathroom with all kinds of soap and it had towels. Short walk to the CBD, train stations, tram and bus stops, and the Library. Would recommend!!

This hotel was a great find and there was nothing that I would change.

The location was excellent and only a 12 minute walk from Southern Cross station. The unit itself was self contained with a large living area, kitchen and fridge. The bed is a king size and very comfortable. I was surprised to see a bathtub in the bathroom. Woolworths and Coles were less than a 10mins walk, so I bought some essentials such as cereal, bread and milk. I had lunch or dinner at many of the restaurants or hotels, which are a few minutes away. The hotel is located in a very quiet area far enough away from the busy end of Melbourne. There was no passing traffic and no noise, yet it was so close to many of the restaurants, hotels, casino and Marvel stadium. These are all walking distances of no more than a 15 minute walk.
