Helen and Alan were excellent hosts - friendly, generous and engaging, but also leaving us time and space to be alone. We really enjoyed staying there - the fire, breakfast and heated bathroom floor were wonderful extras. We are hoping to stay again sometime.

Had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were very friendly as well as their beautiful dogs. Accommodation was nice and comfortable. Lovely property, gardens and lake to wander around. A nice warm fire at night was welcoming as well as the delicious breakfast.  Close to town and bushwalks.

I should have stayed longer 😪

Reflecting on my stay at Meriba B nB leaves me awestruck. It transcended all my expectations. The atmosphere exuded serenity and tranquility, and every interaction was accompanied by silver service and genuine smiles. The enchanting garden, the superbly comfortable bed, and the unparalleled coffee all contributed to an experience beyond compare. The warmth of the home, coupled with the nostalgic presence of Agatha Christie books, felt simply precious. Helen and Allan, like angels from above, showered me with hospitality that made me wish I could extend my stay to three days. Their thoughtful gestures spoiled me from the depths of their hearts. Even the darling little ones, who greeted me with friendly barks, added to the charm of my experience. From the porch to the crackling fire, every moment was imbued with peace and contentment. Truly, it was an unforgettable retreat.

None - wished we had more time to explore the area as we were visiting a few towns. Would love just to hang and chill there.

Clean, neat, comfy. Allan and Helen are so hospitable. Suki , the dog, is a friendly dog . Good to be away from the day to day busy life . We were so glad we stayed in this property rather than the conventional hotel. Just remember to bring/ask for insect repellent if you do plan to chill at the veranda.

Couches in sitting area were a bit uncomfortable.

Location was amazing, right on the edge of the national park. House and garden were beautiful. You are welcome to walk through the extensive gardens, including a rose garden, pond and vegetable gardens and say hi to the house chickens.
