Although i understand Covid 19 has caused massive disruptions/changes to how things are done i think to ask guests to change sheets, towels etc for their room is a bit cheeky. We had a large group of friends join us in port douglas and we all stayed in different locations and after enquiring with our friends they all stated their rooms were being cleaned as per normal by a staff member of the hotel where they were staying. I just think for the higher end prices we paid that it should be something thats included.

This place was great, relaxing as theres no children allowed. The pool area is great and its not too far to walk to the main group of pubs and shops. Friendly staff and the rooms are a good size.

Bed was a bit soft for me, but definitely did not make the stay uncomfortable.

You need to put the car park entry key pad on a 30cm stalk so that it is easier to access. Also you need to do something similar for the exit fob. The current arrangement is totally inadequate and not in keeping with the rest of the property.

Not enough lounge chairs for the complex and the padding on the chairs need replacing. Studio apartment has a very small balcony which never saw the sun. The studio room was very small and it needed a full length mirror.

The fact that the room wasn’t serviced by cleaners & we had to change linen our selves apparently due to no availability of staff, but no discount offered due to this & it’s not mentioned when you book that I could see. The studios are too small for a 7 night stay, but I booked it so my fault & that’s all that was available at the time.

Bed was too soft for me. We had a bedsitter and balcony was very small. I would recommend a one bedroom unit with large balcony and table and chairs. Cable TV would be nice . Noisy street .

Clean property. Friendly staff. Location was great to get into village and beach .Lovely pool and pool towels. Rooms airy with good linen and mini kitchen. Fan and air conditioning which we didnt use as room was cool and comfortable . Safe for precious items. washing machine and dryer. Coffee machine. Bath and great shower.

No screen door on the ground floor meant we had to sleep with the door shut for security and insects (though neither was a problem) so a bit stuffy.

Good location close to everything. We had a nice room by the pool but it was very quiet. We used the spa which was great since the weather was very mild.

The room was spartan and colourless. The were no pictures anywhere, just a narrow swatch of coloured material across the bottom of the bed. The absence of a hotplate meant it was certainly not self-catering. Eating utensils, plates and glasses were just adequate and were cheap quality. The gardens and surroundings were well kept and very attractive.

Proximity to town centre was good. The room was clean and functional. There was a good size television and a great view of the swimming pools. Basement parking was very convenient. The lift was quick and smooth giving very speedy access to the ground floor and car park.

The room did not suit our five night stay. Shower over the bath was difficult for us to manage as we are seniors. There was nowhere to sit comfortably. We had to sit on the bed to relax. Very tiny balcony with no room for table. There were other rooms that would have suited us better. We thought the staff could have been a little more helpful in guiding us, knowing we had not been to Port Douglas previously.

The bed was a very soft squishy bed, which felt amazing, but wasn't good for our backs.

Fantastic location, we walked everywhere. Our studio room was perfect for the two of us and had basic cooking options (toaster, microwave, kettle).

it was a little noisy at night. You could hear people from other rooms either talking or watching tv. Also noise from people on the street was also disruptive
