How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was only lounge seating for tgree people so someone had to sit on the floor. Lounge suite should have been bigger to accomodate a family. Kitchen was not well stocked...three of everything only. And no teapot?

Shower door in 2nd bathroom does not close properly. Dishwasher needs some instructions left for user. It took us a couple of times to work out how to turn it on. Using apps for television use was frustrating. We are older visitors and would have liked to just come in and relax and turn the TV on. No such luck. It seems that all the instructions for everything were via the TV. Guess this is one area that it pays to be young.
The suite was comfortable and clean.

Parking
If you’re heading to a gig at the hordern or a game at the SCG it’s a perfect location. There are plenty of cafes etc in the area for coffee but parking is a bit of a nightmare. Room is super generous in size and excellent value. We had an apartment for the cost of a hotel room. Would be good for a few days but not super convenient if you are reliant on public transportation.

car parking is a bit hard as you have to use stairs wherever you park and that is hard with luggage
Our 2 bedroom split level apartment was beautiful with all the facilities needed and it was spotless clean!

The wifi connection was very poor.
Very very big and modern, it has a good vibe and everything was clean. The bed was super comfortable. The dryer machine is a little old, so it didn't work perfectly, but it was ok.

No face washers provided and when asked at the front desk was told that face washers were no longer given out.....so all we had was two towels....which was definitely not a 5 star accommodation towel and a bath mat....no face washer and not even a hand towel either.
Rooms were very nice and bed was comfortable..... great location in the city and great price also.

Getting from reception to the room required 2 lifts and walking numerous hallways which made it somehow feel less like a premium hotel.
Very spacious (we had a suite). New fixtures and fittings, comfortable bed and quiet despite being near main road. Selected for its proximity to Moore Park Entertainment Quarter, for an event, which was an easy walk or short taxi; it is also located close to great cafes/dining.

Had a balcony overlooking the park with a nice view but unusable due to horrendous constant road noise. Could not hear each other talk standing on the balcony. The noise was fine with doors closed.
Good location, close to public transport and shops. The beds were very comfortable. The bed rooms were quiet despite road noise in the living room.

The instructions from staff about the “other” elevator was vague, we had to take 2 elevators to our room & its was a maze to find. There was no information guide in our room I found that disappointing. The coffee machine in our room didn’t work, there was no ice & the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly.
Love the view & the privacy. The layout of the room was perfect.

First room on freeway was very noisy despite double glass doors.

Works on the water system we’re going on in the building. We were not warned about this and it was very loud and disturbed our rest. We complained and received a night off our bill.
Great space which was very clean with everything needed. Staff all nice. Good location for shops and restaurants.
