Room needs an up-date. Furniture old and tatty. Ranchslider wouldnt open. Lighting very poor. The girl on reception was unfriendly as though she wished she was anywhere rather than at work.

It had all the basics. Beds clean and comfortable. Lighting very poor. Bathroom up dated and good. Handy to city and trains. The guy on reception when we arrived friendly and helpful.

Would be good I if the kettle was a bit larger and if the shower head in the bathroom wasn’t fixed to the wall. Hard to not get my hair wet when it was high up on the wall.

The beds were very comfy, the bathroom was nice and the view was great.

A challenge to arrange late night check-in. Many emails to get it done. Not such an easy thing when you are on the fly overseas with variable wi-fi etc. It all worked but was a bit stressful not knowing until the last minute if there would be somewhere to sleep even though I’d paid in advance through Booking.com

Rooms odd shaped and no two rooms are the same no microwave. Luck of the draw if you get a room that you can squeeze between the bed and sliding door.

Room needs new carpet as it is coming apart. Mattress although you could sleep on it was not what you would expect in a motel.

Position, restraunt- good food at a reasonable price , great if going to the hospital next door.

An older but good value hotel

Limited availability of food. Outdoor parking. Unclear access to the lift from the car park.

The Madison served its purpose. The discrimination of getting the after-hours key could have been clearer. For an older hotel, the place was tidy and clean enough. It represented good value. Getting food was not easy as it was limited to limited restaurant hours.

Our room needed updating, carpets, blankets, cupboards were all older fashioned and worn. The two single beds were on rollers and rolled around. One bed was super comfy the other hard and noisy.

we were very pleased with the new bathroom.

It’s a tough walk uphill with a 10kg backpack from Central station. The furniture in the room ‘ has seen better days ‘ and the mattress is very firm !

Good location within walking distance to Roma st and Central stations and the City. Basic accommodation with a nice modern bathroom .

In my opinion, I feel the Hotel Room 209 needs a little Facilities Maintenance carried out on it for the Price paid, but, other than that, alls good.

Yes, the Receptionist "Kate" was very nice, and understanding of my predicament.

It is looking a little tired. The carpark is tight and difficult to navigate. The lift took ages to come down to the carpark.

The room had a smell that my wife and daughter complained about also there was no cutlery not even knives or plates even though we only stayed one night. We asked at the check in counter for even a cloth or a tea towel and were told that we don't supply them.

    Location was good for us
