The rooms upstairs are quite small and dated as it is an old style hotel. It became very noisy and rowdy with a band playing there on Friday evening. No onsite parking.

It's in a great location right in Adelaide's city centre close to everything. It's a pub so you're able to enjoy a separate meal there whilst watching the footy on the numerous screens located inside.

My main complaint was the noise. Noise from the construction site next door starting at 6:00 a.m, traffic noise and loud music from the pub immediately below the rooms on some nights.

When rating a place, I take into consideration the value proposition - the price was affordable, so I was expecting basic accommodations, which is what is was. The check-in staff were really nice. The location was fantastic, right across from the central market. Having access to a balcony was also a bonus.

We didn't realise that there was no bathroom & toilet in the room until after we booked in and went to room. (We weren't aware that it was shared bathroom/toilet facilities) Also, no air conditioning in the room we stayed in. Air Conditioning would be a great investment!

Overall, it was a really nice place to stay! Staff were friendly, the place was tidy, very affordable for those on a budget, parking close by, and nice meals available! The room was basic, but nice enough to stay in, especially if you are out and about all day, can come back and grab a meal (and drink) and head upstairs to sleep!

The meals we ordered were perfect, well cooked and tasty. Service was excellent, Friendly and Helpful. Rooms were basic, but clean and quiet considering the location of the hotel

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room nor a communal area. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast. My room didn't even have a table or chair. Being an older hotel, there is no aircon also but plug in fans. My bed was like sleeping on springs and had to double up the Donna to try to get comfortable..5 night stay

I don't have any complaint, but if there is something that can be improved, it's the furniture inside the room. No problems to me by the way.

I think the first thing that hits you is the retro-style of the entire place, room included, but eventually you get used to it. It's a nice place. The place is clean: rooms are clean, bathroom and showers are clean. It's a quiet place, even if there is the bar downstairs, but that's not a problem, because from your room you are quite isolated from the noise. It is located right in front of the Central Market and really close to the CBD and a 10 minute from the airport by taxi. You can reach the bus station with a 5-minutes-walk

A great location, opposite the Adelaide Markets and one block from the train to various parts of Adelaide that I wished to visit! And where I wanted to go the train was free!!! Yes I'd stay there again, thank you!

Mattresses were thin so were a bit uncomfortable. As it's above a public bar, it could be quite noisy at night. Wifi was terrible, could barely get bars in our room, so must have been the furthest from the modem... downstairs the wifi was fine.

Excellent location to central city. Staff were friendly and really helpful - carried luggage upstairs for someone with a mobility issue, and ordered us a taxi for our departure at 5am. Excellent showers with great water pressure.

Some large items of furniture made the room feel very crowded
