It was filthy. When using the toilet a member of staff came out of the bathroom without washing their hands and went straight back to serving in the restaurant. We booked a taxi to the station, which the reception booked at the wrong time then preceded to ask us to cancel it. But neither taxis arrived.

Stunning location. Endless facilities that are starting to be run down.

It was a struggle to park the car, there were no designated car spaces provided to all the guests.

The resort has stunning surroundings and breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains Valley. Breakfast was really good.

School holiday activities finished well before the holidays finished. Ember restaurant never rang us back as promised.

Pool area could be updated it was looking a little tired. They were building a large multi coloured slide at the front which spoils the spectacular view down the valley.

good location, breakfast was excellent and facilities were really good. Great place for families with loads of activities. Enjoyed the live music in the bar.

My room was to hot and I couldn’t change the aircon setting from 20 degrees, being a heatwave weekend, I didn’t get much sleep.

Great place to take the kids there’s so much to do, food and drinks were nice and well priced.

The focus on children at this resort was second to none- the school holiday activity calendar, and the stuffed toy for my toddler on check-in was very much appreciated. The buffet was great! A lovely short stay.

The golf club and the resort had advertising for a trivia night, which made us go to the bistro for a second time, dinner, but trivia was not on. That was disappointing. The advertisement should be taken down if it’s not being offered. The kids train ride around the resort could be going more often. Not just twice during the day. Kids were always waiting to go on, and it was school holidays, so you would think it would operate more than twice a day. Not a lot of variety in terms of food options. The same menu was mostly offered across all of the restaurants and cafes, especially the kids menu. The food was exactly the same everywhere.

The hotel was clean and lots to offer for kids. Very child and family friendly. The staff were lovely and happy to accommodate. Breakfast was good. It was a little more expensive than expected for a buffet. It was quite loud in there for breakfast time too, with music, in the morning. Our son has a disability and had to wear noise canceling headphones in order to sit there.

People were putting room service plates with food on them outside their rooms for collection, however they weren’t collected for a couple of days. This made the hallway smell.

However, I couldn't help but notice certain aspects of the resort that could benefit from attention. Specifically, the physical condition of the complex seems to need remedial works.

Firstly, I would like to commend you on the overall quality of our stay. The service was impeccable, and the food was delightful. The efforts put into maintaining a high standard of hospitality were evident and much appreciated.

The cleanliness left a little bit to be desired. When I grabbed the clean towels, several long black hairs dropped onto the ground and bathtub. Also several small bundles of dust/hair were under the bathroom door that you could see when you opened or closed the door.

The hotel is tired it’s lacking fine details and needs some love. Some staff were rude and unhelpful. Food options were pricy and not value for money ($55 for breakfast) The shower was terrible and the rooms look dated. Room service was always left in the hallway. 25 years ago this was a beautiful hotel.

The building it self needed work lots of shabby public areas and for such a big property there wasn't great signage on where to go to get to thing like the pool it was very easy to get lost if you didn't know where to go

The family facility where great but very little information was provided about them unless asked for staff where not as attentive as other sofitels. It felt a bit more novotel with extra facilities than sofitel
