The bathroom, although clean does need to be replaced as there was mould in the grout, having been subjected to so much wet weather in Cairns I am surprised that there was not more mould in the unit.

It was located centrally to shopping. The host was very friendly. We were put in a 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable. It appeared to have been recently repainted so it was clean and tidy . The washing machine and dryer were great. Undercover locked car park was a bonus

The floors hadnt been swept and there were crumbs on the counter when we checked in. The bathroom shower had so much black mold in it and the fan vent/fan had so much dust it looked like it had never been cleaned. The a/c unit in the bedroom also had mold on it. Reception is only opened from 830 until 3, there was no one to talk to about the cleanliness as we left early in the morning for a tour and Reception was closed when we got back.

The location was great. For an older style property, the facilities were good. The apartment was well presented. The Manager was very helpful and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

Mold in bathroom, saw a cockroach in bathroom, kitchen lights did not work, no one came to change our towels or trash for the entire 3 night stay.

The apartment was spacious, clean and most comfortable. We appreciated the washing machine and the kitchen facilities in particular. Woolworths was a short distance away which was highly convenient for groceries. The Aquarium, Art Gallery and Lagoon area were a comfortable walk away from the apartment and Rusty's Market close by in the next street. The rail station was a short walk away, convenient for the Spirit of Queensland and Karanda trains. The manager was most welcoming and helpful. We'd happily stay here again. Great value for the money.

A bit dated could do with a freshen up Bathroom needs maintenance and renovation. Kitchen could do with more utensils / knives / bread and butter plates Too light in bedroom could do with block out curtains. Couch was uncomfortable.

Friendly welcome. Apt 207 is a great sized 1 bed apt for our 5 night stay, with balcony with view's of building. Laundry in apt is a bonus. Bed was comfy. Plenty of wardrobe storage. Secure parking. Shops and train station are across the road with many eateries nearby. The apt is a few blocks from Esplanade but we didn't mind the walk. Nearby we discovered fabulous Rusty's produce market a must for fruit and veg etc
