How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

One of the towers smelt extremely bad. Our tower was fine though. The theatre could have been accessible

Minor issue of indoor pool being out during our stay (came back online the day we left) but that is just unlucky.
Location is great, we walked everywhere for our entire stay. Beaches, restaurants and stuff to do all close by. Accommodation was good for the price, especially for a stay during school holidays. We had everything we needed. Host is very proactive and helpful which we appreciated. We hope to get the chance to return in the future.

This was a wonderful place to stay with our toddler. Clean and well-appointed on the ground floor of the towers with easy access to the lawn, playground and lagoon pool, and considerate touches like a bucket, spade, boats and other sand toys to take to the the pool. The owner was very helpful with detailed instructions for checking in and out. Highly recommended!

Check in is a little confusing but we got there. The bed was not as comfortable as we liked, but everyone is different.
The location is perfect. The size of the apartment was great for four of us. The apartment was clean

Hard to find anything to criticise. Bed a bit bouncy for our taste but others may think differently. Terms and conditions a bit fierce until one remembers that they must encompass schoolies!
Location excellent for local cafes and restaurants. Also good for bus and (excellent) Light Rail for trips along the Gold Coast corridor. Easy to get to new Arts Centre (HOTA) with some good displays and exhibitions. Cynthia was flexible and helpful.

The bed was amazingly comfortable we didn't use the kitchen other than the fridge and it was just the right temperature have access to Netflix on the TV and only a 2 min walk from the tram station and cavil Avenue.

I was only there 2 nights but found lounge chairs by the pool hard to come by at certain times.
Collecting the keys was the easy part - finding our car park was another story as it's such a huge car park. Great communication from the host helped. Location is bang on to everything you could need. Pool was nice and is good for younger kids as it's not too deep and has sloping in sandy entrances. I'll definintely come back.

Only real issue I had was finding the place, as it was part of the Chevron 3 Towers it was a bit confusing. But easily located after one phone call
Location was perfect. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely book this place again if we were to travel to the gold coast.

The balcony slider door needs fix.
Prefect location and wonderful owner. This was second time we stayed here. The owner provided everything included the pool toys. We asked for early check in and the answer was Ok.

The apartment a bit old, the balcony sliding door can’t fully open due to the roller damage. The management should advise landlord to replace it, otherwise it will cause the aluminum track completely gone.

An ensuite off the main bedroom would have been amazing or even just a separate toilet to the main bathroom would have been great but we understand this is a set 2bd 1bth apartment layout. Would have also preferred if there was a lock on the bathroom door.
Hotel is situated in an awesome location. So close to everything you could ever need, supermarket, restaurants, entertainment, retail shopping, beach, bottlestore, tram.. Hotel offers great amenities including various indoor & outdoor pools & spas, arcade room, playground, gym and direct access to shopping facilities below. Apartment was great. Clean & comfy. Self check in was super easy and convenient. Host was super friendly & helpful with all aspects of our stay. The amount of extra items supplied throughout the apartment exceeded our expectations. Kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies, milk, beverage cans, pool toys & kids toys on top of the usual hotel basics was great and although we did not use a lot of these things it was good to know they were there if we needed to use them and we didn't have to go out looking to buy whole boxes of things when only needing small amounts, such as glad wrap, dish liq, tomato sauce etc

Centrally located in the heart of Surfers. Amazingly equipped two bedroom apartment with immediate access to pools/outdoor/bbq area. Prompt, clear and courteous communication by host. Highly recommend!

The directions to collect the keys were very explicit and a little confusing but I worked it out in the end. Can't fault the room and the price.
The room was in great condition, very clean and a great size for 3 adults.

Incredible apartment, super luxus. You can also enjoy the swimming pool, the spa, etc. The owner is also very friendly and takes care of all details. The location is also very good, right to the middle of surfers paradise.

Excellent location. Very clean and Cynthia was a pleasure to deal with. Gaining access was no issue and she even checked in with us the next day to make sure everything was ok. Highly recomended
