How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was very dark outside room at night. A couple of garden lights would of been nice. The bed was very high and made getting into it a bit awkward.
Room was a great size with a king bed. Curtains were very heavy which provided for a nice dark room. Didnt really hear any road noise either, seeing we had a room facing the road. There was an Indian/Grill restaurant next door and a fantastic pizza bar a bit further down.

Didn't like I had to stand in reception for almost 20 mins to wait for someone just to have a intercom tell me someone will be there soon who gave us a key and didnt even tell us where the room was

I saw the admin once, when I checked in. The office appeared to be shut. We have to ring the bell to speak with anyone. I was not there to watch TV, but the remote required another battery to operate. So I settled on a channel, and left it there. I paid for 3 days, but the appeared to be serviced after the 2nd day.
The room was adequate, Shower was good, heating was good. The room was clean & tidy. The Bed was suitable with enough blankets

Not the place to stay for a longer period due to minimal Room Facilities, no food prep space, no Recreational facilities, slow internet.
Basic and comfortable, Unit was spacious and was a reasonable price for facilities - particularly for a Saturday night. Internet provided.

Thought it was expensive for what we got. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Room needs to be updated, marks on the carpet.

Room a bit stuffy.
Spotlessly clean, and quiet. Our room looked as though it’s been upgraded with nice new fresh look. As for the bed - the most comfy we’ve ever slept in!! And great shower.

Bathroom was updated but the shower rose was a bit bizarre as it was one of the ones you could hold in your hand. When positioned in its holder the water seemed to hit the shower door and run out into the bathroom a little and showering with the shower rose in your hand was a little difficult. I would have fixed the shower rose on the other side of the wall. Not sure when the last time the room we were in had a quick vaccum and clean but I did notice a spider web above the door into the shower and behind the bunk bed as well as a dead cricket inside by the front door. The rooms could do with a little spruce up to make it light and airy in my opinion.
It was in a great location. The room was big enough for our needs for an overnight stay. The shower had great pressure and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Large room, well equipped and clean. Comfortable bed. If you want to get away from the road noise request a room at the back. the noise wasn't too bad but some people like total quiet

The bunk beds are only suitable for children.
Room was comfy, bathroom was excellent. The bunk beds are really only suitable for children. The area where the motel was located was quite but close to shopping areas.

The door lock was broken- I did not feel safe as the complex was open.Had to put chairs in front of door which posed a hazard if there was a fire. The floor had not been vacuumed from previous guest -food crumbs were on chairs and bottle top was under table. There were plastic ties on floor from new clothing tags and white marks on curtains. The shower was modern but had developed a red color like mould in the grout in the corner. The water took a long time to warm up and did not stay a consistent temperature
Friendly thoughtful obliging host on arrival. Clear instructions and very polite. The king sized bed was clean and so comfortable.
