The bed was a point of contention for us. I’m a skinny marathoner and found it too hard, sleeping poorly. My wife, who has a little more natural padding, loved it.

A very comfortable bed, great to be able to park off the street and have a safe place for our dog. The location allowed us to be able to walk everywhere we wanted.

The stairs upstairs are a little windy and quite narrow. We didn’t have a problem at all with them but some people might and this should be noted. The area was close to the river and train station, which is fine but did mean more noise.

This air bnb was very quirky and cute. A great place to stay if you don’t want your run of the mill type of accommodation. The bathroom was modern and bedroom was comfortable. The sun drenched courtyard was private with more than one option of table/chairs to enjoy a glass of wine or cup of tea!

The kettle was leaking, spider webs , and small ants in the bathroom also the downstairs rug needed a vaccume as dog fur was visible

Lovely comfortable bed and within walking distance to everything (river and city). Lovely that we could bring our Border Collie away with us on holiday. Its a neat little package but has everything you need.

As I am a little older, I felt I had to be careful with the stairs, also the courtyard paving was quite uneven

Noisy dog barking somewhere in the neighbourhood (which of course is no fault of the owners) was about the only thing not to like.

The only thing I would have preferred is a bigger stovetop. It’s not possible to fit a fry pan and a saucepan on at the same time. I realise though that space is a constraint. We also could not work out how to use the microwave oven even with the instructions !

The apartment was a beautifully renovated stable which was very tastefully decorated. Great use of an unusual space. Fabulous bathroom area.

Pillows were a bit flat, we'll bring our own next time.

Loved the Lock up parking, the huge courtyard and keyless entry. The double shower 🚿 was super clean and luxurious. Quirky ambience, tartan bedroom with balcony and functional kitchen. Tv with DVD player, I'll bring some old DVDs to watch next time also CDs player. Two aircon kept the place super cool when it hit 36 degrees. Thanks for complimentary milk, bread, eggs and pantry supplies. 5 minutes walk and you're in the centre of town. Short walk to the river. 10 minutes walk to the gallery and stately home Rio Vista. Definitely stay again 😀

There were very few negatives, but evening relaxation was cramped.

The location is excellent for both the river and the centre of town. Once you are there you don't need your car. The property is stand alone so you have no adjoining walls. The facilities were excellent and clean.

It’s always peaceful and relaxing stying at The Stable! Private and off the Main Street but close enough to walk to the main hub.

While there was nothing that we really didn't like, the oven took some time to discover how to operate the various settings, and the lighting around the keypads was insufficient at night to use without car lights to assist.

Upstairs was very comfortable. It was easy to warm when we arrived on an unseasonably chilly evening. The location is perfect - five minutes walk from a range of restaurants in Langtree Avenue and within ten minutes of the Arts Centre. No need to drive to eat out or attend the theatre and gallery.
