How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Carrying everything up to the top floor. No elevator. Walls between apartments are very thin and don’t allow for much privacy.
The property was well presented, clean and equipped with all necessary items.

The garage was a good size but quite awkward to manoeuvre at the end of the driveway. I would prefer that there was full length mirrors, maybe on the back of the bedroom doors. May sound trivial but important to me.
The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Clean and tidy. Every amenity necessary for a relaxing stay. Very close to Kings beach and lots of cafes within walking distance. The three flights of stairs were a challenge at first but got easier. 😉

The host had provided a lot of really handy things for a family with young kids. Example: floaties and a sunscreen dispenser.

Scratching my head. If I had to say one thing is was the flights of stairs and no lift with a suitcase. But I knew that when I booked so no issue!
Lovely decor, thoughtful welcome pack (and generous!) and the apartment smelled beautiful!

Just a suggestion. It would be great if there were screens on windows and doors, so you can enjoy fresh air instead of air con all the time.

The apartment was very well laid out with loads of space. The rooms were a good size. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. Is was very quiet at night time so the kids slept well.

Didn’t use the pool. Stairs only to get to the apartment.
Short to the beach, cafes, walking tracks/boardwalks, playgrounds. Local salt water pool is great for both little kids and adults. Unit is very comfortable and easy to stay in. Clean and modern appliances. Great off street parking.

We weren't aware that it was 6 flights of stairs walk up... we had a lot of stuff with us and small kids to carry up. There were lots of bonus amenities in the kitchen, but just plain black/english breakfast tea was not offered - would have loved this (minor thing).
Very short walk to beach, parks and restaurants. Very nicely furnished. With small kids, we liked that the rooms were away from the living area.

Bathroom was outdated but still functional
Perfect location, comfortable beds and neat and tidy modern apartment. Lovely complimentary snacks and tea/coffee, body wash, sunscreen, etc. Kids loved the board games and access to Netflix and Stan. Lovely pool to enjoy.

Beds were a little hard for my liking. But my personal preference is a soft bed. Each to their own 😊
Fantastic little spot! Nice and close to the beach and restaurants The apartment is beautiful, spacious for a 2 bedroom. Family friendly, even has an x box and board games! Apartment is stunning, bright and clean. Love the decor Definitely recommend! Would 100% stay again

It was on the third floor with no lift, so whilst this is minor for us (young fit people), those who are less mobile may struggle with the stairs.
Had all the things we needed, plus more! Great location, very close to the beach. My husband was chuffed with the Xbox. It was wonderful that we could bring our two dogs. The apartment is clean and tidy, with nice styling and modern furniture.

We were on level 4 with only stairs, no lift option (okay for us but just noting for others), would have loved the bedroom windows to open for fresh air, but fans covered it and the bathroom/shower area is quite open plan.
Host communicated very well, the apartment is in a great location, nicely styled and furnished, a small garage for our 4WD car, the kitchen was well appointed and we received a lovely welcome gift.
