Nothing mayor. Perhaps one of the upstairs showers could use a repair/renovation. Aside from that everything is fine.

The host is very nice. CheckIn is fast. For a hostel it is really cool. The location is perfect. Short walk to restaurants, supermarket, bakery, skybus stop and port. Rooms and Wifi are fine. Enough parking spaces right next to the hostel. We like to stay here and are going to do that again when we return to Tasmania.

I would have loved flyscreens. I know! Fussy me, but did get eaten!

VERY CLEAN and pleasant surroundings. Easy walk to hipster things if you have money to spend eating and drinking. Outrageously expensive real estate in the area, cool, trendy consumables. Kind of surprised that a backpackers would be tolerated by locals. Didn't meet anyone in the hostel who could have afforded to eat in the area but nice change to not always stay in backpackers that are usually in back alleys away from the la ded da people. I'm guessing that's also why it is meticulously maintained also. Everyone was very polite and quiet after 10 or so. Not the usual weed smoking guitar playing, bongos kind of place. While I love that vibe too- sometimes it's time for a good sleep!

It's a bit dirty if you look closer at some corners or behind the beds. That would be the only downside if I had to name one.

Overall a great hostel. Quite spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, plenty of space in the kitchen and several fridges available. 15 min walk to the bus stop (airport transfer), 15 min walk to the city center. I had a good time over there. While doing the Three Capes Track they stored a bag for me free of charge. Washing machine and dryer are also available.

Bathrooms and toilets were quite old and the floor would get wet easily from a leak in the shower screen, but to be expected and still usable.

Great location in Battery Point, friendly owners and guests. Great kitchen space and the house was equipped with lots of extra things like games, bike rental, umbrellas etc.

Host was friendly and very helpful, location was great for walking. Hostel is set in a nice neighborhood, and has a nice yard with several places to relax. Upper veranda was our favorite. The house was quiet after 10 p.m.

It really is as nice as in the pictures :) on top of that it's very clean, the owner and staff are super helpful and the showers are very good.

Facilities were great, plenty of space to socialise. Owner was super lovely and always made time for a chat, the addition of hot water bottles for the cold nights was a huge boost! Perfect spot to base yourself from, central to cafes and local boutique shopping.

1 toilet and seperate shower for each section of the building. Meant waiting or finding another on a different floor. Not the cleanest and slightly dated

Not the owners fault, but I wish people would be more considerate with the noise. It’s an old house and they didn’t take an effort to walk a little quieter. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Great location, beautiful house and clean dorms. Large kitchen. Perfect for 1 or 2 nights to explore Hobart. Good coffee place just around the corner.
