The location was stunning, and the surrounds beautiful and quiet. The work that has gone into this place was evident in the attention to detail in both the building restoration, and the way things have been set up for guests. Loved the combination of heritage buildings with tasteful, modern amenities. Steve was also generous with the firewood, and we had a delightfully cosy and comfortable stay!

I had thought we could cook a meal-only a microwave/convection and no cook top... My mistake, as we had hoped to chill and cook at the accommodation some nights-not practical.

Great setting in the Adelaide Hills-we even saw a Koala in a tree on the property. Great hosts. Wonderful sized room and very clean and organised. Just the best place for a getaway. Recommend this accommodation highly.

The hosts were wonderful and very informative and greeted us to show us through the property. It was close to everything like Adelaide and Glenelg and Adelaide Hills. Extremely clean and the breakfast provided fed a family of 3 for two mornings and was exceptional. Everything we needed and more

Beautiful breakfast with local produce. Loved the coffee machine in the room. Kitchen was fully equipped allowing us to cook meals when we wanted to stay in. Very impressive and so very comfortable.

The property was absolutely stunning! We loved it and enjoyed sitting out in the morning drinking our coffee and having breakfast with the yummy complimentary food they supplied. They had a great set up, great for bbqs, etc with a beautiful view of the hills and an easy walk along along the trail to the Scenic Hotel 😊

We love the setting and the historic nature of Morialta Barns. Steve the host is just brilliant. He genuinely welcomes you, helps you to understand all features so as to maximise your experience and also shares information about the individual buildings and their unique history. The breakfast provisions are seasonal and fresh and tasty. We love the decor, which along with the honey coloured exposed stone walls makes for a most relaxing and stay.

Beautiful converted barns. Tastefully styled, and fully equipped for a lovely stay. Really great shower, comfortable bed, and gorgeous stone is just beautiful to see. Our host, Steve, was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed a number of great chats with him learning about the conversion and history of this delightful property.

Everything catered for. Well equipped kitchen area with plenty of utensils etc. Bed very comfortable. Fantastic bathroom & laundry. The lovely thick stone walls kept the inside cool although the air con worked well when needed. The attention to detail with the barn renovations show that much love and thought was put into the process.

This is only a very minor issue as I had a car with a high clearance and as long as there is no extensive rainfall there are not going to be any issues but sealing the access road would maybe be an idea for the future.

One of those places I will probably remember for a very long time as really outstanding. You could feel all the love and effort the owners put into renovating that nearly 200-year-old ensemble of stone buildings, as old as the city of Adelaide itself. - Combined with all modern amenities set in the lovely picturesque setting of the Morialta Conservation Park you could literally walk an array of trails from this place leading to some of the most wonderful hikes of the Adelaide Hills.

The washing machine in the shared laundry probably needs to be updated, but I imagine most stays would be short ones not looking to use it anyway.

Beautiful location in the Adelaide hills, beautiful views and wildlife, and a lot of effort put into transforming the location whilst maintaining a classic style. Very comfortable accomodation, slept so well.

The combustion fire place located in the old bakery section of the barn was lovely, but the air inlet to adjust fire intensity needs to be adjusted. That's about the only minor issue I can report.

A memorable stay in a lovely restored historic barn conversion on a scenic couple of acres.. The owners have created a welcoming combination of historic farm with modern features, huge private court yard behind beautiful stone walls, a tasty artisan breakfast supplied and a further bbq and dinning terrace overlooking the valley. 2 nights wasn't long enough! Easy drive from Adelaide.
