The overall stay was ok except for the first night. Got there on the Friday night thinking we'll have a good night's sleep before the Saturday Races. Didn't happen - the smoke alarm went off at midnight and didn't stop until after 1am, clearly we couldn't go straight to sleep. The alarm started up again at 7.30 in the morning. I tried contacting the mobile contact number several times by ringing and texting and got no response, not even the following morning. The hotel should have made contact and offered everyone a refund for the first night.

I am traveling alot, local and international.. This is first time i've stayed in the hotel with NO COFFEE and SUGAR in the room ( only tea ) Little bit disappointed wake up in the morning

Doona had no cover on it and there were yellow stains over it. In the morning there vomit all the way up the staircase, from the ground floor, no coffee in the tea caddy - only teabags. Busy weekend (long weekend and lost trades fair), so understand increased (if it was) cost of rooms available - but was definitely not worth $300 for the night.

Location was good, stone's throw from botanical gardens, and interesting activities (such as pubs, food venues, some shops). air conditioning was on when we arrived on a very hot afternoon.

Wifi often got down to half a bar or couldn’t connect. I had to go out onto the street to talk to people on my phone or send emails.

There was no breakfast provided for me sorry. I liked the location, being able to walk all around Bendigo was great. I didn’t even mind the noise because I slept really well. Bed was great. I believe it was a new bed, new mattress. The place was very cute as well. I like the courtyard it has huge potential but you really would need to spend money on it to make it boutique-y and gorgeous. You had a cleaner called Jess, she was fabulous. The rooms were very clean. That was nice thank you

You have to supply your own hairdryer and clothes hangers as they do not supply also not a lot of choice for tea or coffee, they just supplied 1 of each. The walls are very thin so you can hear your Neighbour. I would not recommend this accommodation for people of my age (mid 60) as I had a room upstairs and had to carry my suitcase as there is no lift.

The location was excellent right in the center of town, I would recommend this accommodation for young people.

No wardrobe or provision to hang clothes. I asked for a microwave which they said they could provide but there wasn't one in the room.

Though the room was newly renovated, the fixtures were already beginning to fall apart (toilet roll holder). Also there were totally inadequate reserves of consumables. The only toilet paper was what was on the dispenser, so had I required more there wasn't any. The same too for tea and coffee; there was only a minimal supply of teabags and sachets, with a single milk, and no teaspoon with which to stir a tea or coffee. Nothing was replenished whilst I was there either.

The bed was comfortable and the room clean, but not beyond what can be expected at any accommodation. It was newly renovated, which was nice.

I personally believe it should be advertised as a backpacker’s retreat very noisy not very clean l noticed the bedspread was on inside out so l went to change it around and the other side was dirty so I removed it from the bed altogether the room had a kettle but no utensils to make a coffee l stayed for 2 nights and had not even half a roll of toilet paper to last the duration didn’t see any staff the entire time as it was entry with a code will definitely not be staying there again most suitable for the younger generations who like the night life

but the bed was rock hard so i moved to the other bed which had a plastic mattress protector on clearly for disabled people and it was terrible too. Not a great nights sleep.

The location is brilliant \Clean and tidy.
