How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very minor feedback is that the lighting in the room was a bit poor at night.
Stunning location, a beautiful room which was so well set up, spacious with lots of home comforts.

The only issue, which is purely limited to customers in my situation, is the lack of available working space as being down here on business means work continues of an evening. A simple desk/chair setup would be ideal that could accommodate a laptop and travel monitor.
The design and décor of the accommodation is unique to other options in the area, very clean and comfortable which is critical when travelling for work.

As we were travelling we had food we needed to refrigerate and only had the drinks fridge.
The pool area was especially lovely. No one around so we had the facilities to ourselves. Great location, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing that stands out.
Really great decor since the motel has been reno’d (it was great before, too) and the facilities are really great. The rooms have a great feel and the bed was comfy (although the sheets were a little… crunchy? Clean but not soft. Bathroom was nice. We were assigned the accessibility room so it was a bit clinical and not very well decorated but it is what it is.

The pool shut at 7pm even in summer. Be nice if it stayed open until 8 or 8:30pm
Great location only a few minutes walk to beach and Golf club which had nice meals. Lovely pool with a spa

Due to the pool being solar heated, the pool water was hot on hot days and cold on cold days

Armchairs weren't comfortable.
Quirky little motel, great design, comfortable bed and perfect location. Quite comfortable apart from the faint lingering smell of vomit on the carpet. Loved the pool and vending machines.

Couldn't get vending machine to work - took my money but didn't produce soft drink. Instructions (laminated) would be helpful.

We loved motel molly and have been recommending it to all of our friends. I loved the decor, modern facilities, easy parking, proximity to the beach, friendly staff and heated pool.

I suppose there is a flip slide to staying poolside with potential for noise or if there are kids running around and you are seeking peace and quiet, but there are other lovely suites you could choose to avoid that.
Very stylish decor, "Miami" coastal style vibe with pastel and neutral colours - very calming and relaxing atmosphere. We were in suite 12, and we loved the bathtub nook that looked out into the room, where you could have a soak and watch TV at the same time. We had a pool view with our own little terrace. At 8:30 am, they start to play lounge-style music from the garden speakers in the pool area, which adds to the relaxing "backyard" style vibe. The room was very spacious with everything you need, I loved the very cute kitchenette; there is certainly attention to detail in this little boutique motel. Contactless check-in through door codes so you can easily arrive late if needed. Excellent location, a 5-minute walk to the beach, Mollymook Golf Club with various restaurants and a short 10-minute drive to Ulladulla and Milton. Motel Molly is definitely a place for a nice weekend get-away, it really gives you the full resort-style experience, on a smaller scale without the crowds. Great for couples!

Window in one bedroom didn't open and there was no ceiling fan, so it got quite stuffy. Staff were helpful in providing a freestanding fan.
Perfect location. Great decor. Friendly and helpful staff. Fab to have complimentary use of bikes.
