Carpets were a bit stained and the bedspreads need updating.

Great location, buildings were a little ‘tired’ and need a revamp. Staff were lovely- restaurant food was fantastic.

Kettle was rusty inside. All it needs is regular decalcification. Toilet had a smell but not offensive. Aircon was very old and a bit noisy. Noise travelled from adjacent rooms.

Was allocated room in 20th century building behind old 19th century structure. One of units numbered 1 to 11. It was cosy and bathroom more modern than the building. Located opposite good value and cost all day cafe The Wattleseed Barn.

The rooms are dated and for the price it is necessary to bring the rooms up to 2021 standard. I was in room 18 and it wouldn't take much...replace the lace curtains with more modern sheers. An expense but install more power points near the table for work use. I bring an extension cord but without it would be impossible to plug in to recharge phones, iPad, laptop etc. Hanging a 4 point power board from behind the fridge doesn't cut it.

Room size was enjoyable. Bed was very comfortable and a good hot shower with lovely soft towels although shower pressure dropped when room behind used theirs. I travel a lot on business so keep cleaning the remotes in the room - many motels forget to do this which is disgusting but yours were clean, so thank you.

We had dinner at the restaurant during our overnight stay and it was really good . Bridgetown is a quaint little town and Nelson’s is a great place to stay whilst you enjoy it ..

The family room was ideal for a family of four to sleep in the same room. The food at thr restaurant was family friendly. The staff were very welcoming. Bridgetown is always a highlight - such a beautiful and friendly community

Parking for motel units needs a rethink

Dinner were large serves, simple but well presented. Service was efficient and courteous. Great ambience in the olde world dining room.

Only tv channel was ABC (which is okay, but not normal to not have other channels, even in country areas) Access to Wi-fi in compendium was not clear, and only accessed after multiple attempts to find the signal was so poor, was not worth connecting to. Fan in bathroom had thick layer of visible dust and many cobwebs on window. Ants in shower on evening of arrival, I removed and they were back again the next morning.

Nothing really; obviously an older establishment, but that had charm also.

The restaurant was fantastic, one of the nicest meals we've ever had at an accommodation. Lovely ambiance! Nice veranda section for predinner drinks & meeting other guests.
