How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

It’s a bit far from public transport (10-15min) walk. Few steps leading to lobby not disabled friendly.
Friendly staffs with 24/7 front desk service. Well-equipped apartment, can find most of the cooking utensils you need to prepare own meals and cutlery. Room is spacious, with a tiny balcony (though not much view). Quiet surroundings.

The hotel itself was in an awkward location in relation to getting to the city or surrounds by car, although the CBD and quay were easily accessed on foot.
Well-furnished one bedroom apartment. King-sized bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and despite the hotel’s close proximity to the expressway, the apartment was relatively quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

When it eas time to sleep, due to proximity to the highway would be woken by people reving their vehicle's

Overwhelming sewerage smell at front of property near reception. Room was newly Renovated in poor quality workmanship. There was a huge fridge sitting on the carpet and seemed out of place which was odd. Air conditioner had a loud constant ringing sound while operating.
Location was perfect, has a pool & tennis court, apartment self contained had everything you need.

In need of maintenance - water damage to architrave in bathroom, air vent in bathroom needs to be installed properly. Could do with a freshen up to match the furnishings
Excellent location providing secure undercover parking. We only stayed one night but could very comfortably have stayed a week - the apartment is fully self contained.

The dining table chairs in our second room were broken on arrival, we went to pull the chair out to sit down at the table and the whole backing on the chair wobbled. So prob need to upgrade the dining suite in that room, also need a chux clothe in the kitchen to maintain cleanliness while in residence as the scourer alone just doesn’t do allow you to wipe a table or bench down, especially on the glass dining or glass coffee tables.
Breakfast was really good, my family were really impressed with the choices and the room service was A1 as we were all exhausted from travelling it was so nice to have the option of having it delivered to our room.✅✅✅✅✅ Exceptional

only negative would be that the air cond only cooled the bedroom area, we needed to keep the door to the outside area open to let air into the living/kitchen area to circulate the air but otherwise the place was great.
the person at reception showed us the type of room we had booked and lets us inspect it (where we had been staying wasn't great so we had to change accommodation) and the room was as displayed on the website :-)

Awesome location. We were attending Dawn Service at Kings Park. The stairs to Kings Park whilst close were closed. But it was only a 15minute walk via the streets. Close to walk to Elizabeth Quay for dinner. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, would be ideal for a longer stay as all amenities were in the room, washer/dryer, full kitchen etc.. Secure parking

The accommodation is a little outdated for the price paid, a renovation would bring the standards up. Would be nice to see some pot plants around the pool and for the outdoor furniture to be revamped.
Reception staff went above and beyond to help us. The bed was comfortable. Pool was clean

The lighting in the kitchen. Plugs for electronics and medical devices were insufficient and difficult to access. Please provide more hand towels.
Great location 1 km from Elizabeth Quay. Staff was very helpful. As we had a top floor 2 bed the roof top terrace was a slice of joy. We did not use the pool or gym, but it was available.

Very dated Pool was horrid Main bedroom was so small you had to close the door to be able to move around the bed Very hot even with the air-conditioning on Noisy- weird banging from above
