Relatively simple a few gates to navigate but it was OK

Poorly fitted Shower door allowing water to pool on bathroom floor. Lovely north facing wall of windows in need of cleaning. Floor rugs in need of cleaning.

Very good size of property and excellent location. Generous supply of kitchen equipment. Crisp, clean bed linen. Excellent supply of towels, including bath sheets. Spacious clean bathroom with separate toilet facilities. Attractive north view into rear garden.

The area of the passageway outside the kitchen and one bedroom was not at the same level to the sitting room and the other bedroom. Difficult when an older person going to the bathroom in the middle of the night - several stubbed toes! No falls but suggest a lighted marker of some sort on the key two spots.

Great location. Loved the back yard and the dappled sunlight coming through the back windows. Plus the silence of Port Fairy in that location. Would have been better for longer so I could have taken advantage of the lovely kitchen facilities.

The cottage was close to everything, as well as being so comfortable and cosy. The living area was sun filled and a great place to relax at the end of each day.

Our 'didn't likes' are really very minor because we really had a great time in this delightful cottage. Would have been nice to have bedside lamps on either side of the beds. Also, although it may not be possible to fit, queen size beds would have improved our comfort. We also thought, even though there was an electric blanket, we might have been a bit chilly overnight in coming weeks (we stayed early April and were ok). No extra blankets that we could see. The rank of wheelie bins could maybe be kept at the side of the cottage rather than in full view from the main living area? Easier to access and less of an eyesore? 4 adults coped ok with only one toilet (& separate shower/bathroom) but an extra toilet, even if outside (!) would have been good. Also, for 4 people staying for 5 nights we felt 3 toilet rolls was a bit stingy!

The cottage was delightful. In a great location - handy for everything (shops, beach, walks) and yet very, very peaceful. The old front part of the cottage is wonderful - original floor boards, original feature and thick walls. Loved the facade and historic nature. There was a third bedroom, which we weren't expecting, so our friends decided to sleep upstairs - they did bump their heads a few times but said it was a fun place to sleep! We chose the front bedroom which was spacious and airy (although we couldn't actually open the window which would have been nice). We all felt the middle bedroom might have been dark as it had no window to outside (because of the great extension). The kitchen was very well appointed - lots of utensils, crokery etc provided. The big dining /living area was a great space for eating/chilling/playing games (watching TV if that's your thing). The heater was very effective. The garden was nice but we didn't use it much - lots of birds flitting about. The laundry worked well - lots of bits and bobs provided - no need to buy a whole pack of detergent for 1 wash for instance! The front sitting room was very sweet and the sofa bed was more comfortable to sit on than those in the family room which were a bit saggy!

1) Although it was said no internet will be provided but we still think it is good to include this in the package as we may still work remotely etc. 2) The water taste funny. May need filter. 3) canola oil(spray) is no way to be found even though it was said the spray will be provided.

We like about the serenity and vintage home living. Nice area and it is close to port fairy and warrnambool town centre.

Key safe was difficult to open/close, numbers were hard to read even in daylight with mobile phone torch. Needs replacing as sea air possibly has compromised the outer shell. Having a separate toilet from the bathroom does not qualify as accommodation advertised as two bathrooms! This is misleading.

Incorrect direction regarding where to find the key. Apparently the agent knew the directions were incorrect but still failed to advise me. I had to contact the agent when I couldn’t find the key box

Beds too small, should be queen size. Lounge suite inadequate, too old and worn out, sank to the floor when sat on Dining chairs very fragile, probably need more robust ones for rental property

We found the lounge suite very uncomfortable in the back lounge room. .No blankets to be found for the bed.The spa bath did not work . Unkept back garden.Receiving a call asking for a set of Keys after we left when they were never there to begin with. and receiving a text to put all the bins out before we left was the only contact we had from the hosts.

the location was very good.
