That it was in a secluded spot surrounded by nature, the cooking amenities were brilliant, the fire in the tent was cosy and romantic, and the pet chicken was the best part. Everything had a very personal touch to it, right down to the handwritten note on the bed upon arrival welcoming my partner and I to Numie. Would definitely recommend to a friend and stay again!

The tent is extremely comfortable with luxurious touches such as the linen sheets and bean bags. The chicken that lives there was adorable. You’ll see lots of wildlife there during your stay. Waking up to water views was also amazing.

The gas bottles for the cooker were empty so we could only boil the kettle on the BBQ. And the equipment wasn’t very clean perhaps due to the last guests. Little things that should have been checked before we stayed but we worked around it and would definitely recommend to everyone. It was one of the highlights of our Tassie stay

They thought of everything. So many small details that made it extra special. A unique experience, different to a bog standard hotel. Glamping adds a bit of excitement to a stay. Super comfy bed, private clean bathroom and beautiful views on the water. Had dinner outside and then got cosy in the tent with the fire and comfy beanbags

That I failed to find a wombat 😒 lots of telltale signs but no luck.

A minor issue with the water supply to the bathroom which was ably resolved by an attentive host. Some road noise on a busy Friday evening and some guest noise from the main house.

Absolute nature overload- from the views to the local animals. A fun experience with great camp vibes- outdoor fireplace etc. Well-organised site with friendly and helpful staff.

Perhaps when guests leave and preparation for next guests occur that the gas bottles are checked as ours was empty for the shower and the butane gas stove was also empty. Luckily there was a lively staff member there who changed the bottle for the shower

Loved the setting. Surprised how comfortable the bed was and loved the bathroom tent. The peace and tranquilly there was fabulous we lit an outside fire each night and it was magical

Numie is absolutely stunning. There were 3 individual glamping areas set in a clearing, which were well positioned for privacy. They overlook an area of water & are surrounded by trees & ferns. Considering we were “off-grid” they were surprisingly well equipped with a comfortable bed, log fire in the cabin, phone charging, lanterns & fridge. There was a sheltered dining & cooking area & a bath-tent with a shower that worked really well & a dry composting loo that was odour free. We watched the sunset from comfortable chairs around the fire pit. It was a magical experience. Loved the visiting chickens (we named Olive & Mabel). They were very entertaining & we had a night-time visit from a friendly possum & an early morning encounter with a Roo. If you want to “get away from it all” & enjoy a blend of comfort & tranquility, there’s no place better. We loved it.

Slightly pricey compared to other glamping, however, we did feel it was worth the money

Very well thought out! Fantastic amenities, lovely tent and also separate tent for own bathroom. Personal bbq area was lovely and spending the night around our own fire pit watching the stars was amazing.
