Being picky no step to get into spa so had to use the chair to get in and out of spa. Quite a bit of dust which we understand being a barn. The main sofas weren't very comfortable.

Loved the location, the spa and the privacy. Especially loved that we could have our fur baby with us. The little extras like tea, cleaning product's, little chocolates were a lovely touch.

Accomodation was bigger and better than we imagined. Beautifully restored barn. So many extra touches - books, magazines, dvd's, piano, port, chocolates, indoor & outdoor games, large spa bath, bathrobes. Fantastic indoor & outdoor dining areas. Excellent kitchen. PERFECT

I'm scared of heights, pretty bad. Stairs are an issue with me. I knew they had stairs before i booked but it affected me more than i anticipated. It didn't diminish the stay though as the place is lovely. Only other minor thing for us were the towels were small, but there were plenty of them so it was not an issue at all.

We stayed over christmas and they set out a little tree and a christmas cracker with a note for us, was lovely. The ebd would have to be one of the most comfortable beds i've ever stayed in outside of my own. We travel relativley often but both my wife and I were surprised by how we both had such good night sleeps there.

The minute we drove up the driveway, we knew this was the perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful long weekend to celebrate my birthday. Entering into the old barn confirmed this. The barn has been beautifully restored into luxury accommodation. Large kitchen, massive bathroom, open living to the lounge and dinning area. The wide sprial staircase leading up to the master bedroom is not difficult to navigate. I'm mentioning this as I have a disability. Oh, and yes, the bed is comfortable. The location of the property is set amongst rolling hills and valleys. The Blackwood River is close by to walk along a path leading into town. Thank you to Mike and Judi for making our stay a memorable one. Elise and Steve.

We cannot find any fault with the accommodation. Cannot wait to come back next winter.

We love the accommodation so much that we come here every winter, when everything is green and beautiful. It's very serene and peaceful, only birds singing whole day long. The house itself has everything what you need for comfortable stay and more, we didn't miss anything. Kitchen is well equipped with extra touches. I love that yummy cherry liqueur on the dining table.

Never saw our hosts…no complimentary shampoo/conditioner (available at all our other stays)…necessitated our going out and buying these products…as were only there for a 2 night stay, did not bring food to prepare so went out to eat, no good restaurants in the area

The piano needs to be tuned. I would have played it if it sounded better. But I appreciate that it would be hard to find a piano tuner so far from the city.

I loved all the little added extras - the jigsaws, the books, the wine and chocolates supplied.

The owners have retained parts of the original barn which add to the impressiveness of the decor. It is spectacular to look at. They had also thought of everything, robes in the bedroom, chocolates and port on the table, fresh flowers and it added to the romantic vibe.
