Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very handy to transport and easy to go anywhere. Hotel is near Light Rail Convention Station on the Dulwich Hill line, Two stops to Paddy's Market. Short walk to Chinatown Station and L2 line along George St to Circular Quay. Ferry to Pyrmont Bay and Light Rail back to Convention Station.

AustraliaHad a weird smell inside room that lingered (like 2 minute noodles). Towels were stained so we kept asking for new ones. Pool was single lane so more for lap swimming, rather than leisure. The spa was always busy.
Comfortable couches and beds, friendly staff, well located. A short stroll to Darling Harbour. Apartment spacious. Pool and spa looked good but we didn’t use. Clean room. Good for family.

South KoreaI requested a cot - it was not in our room when we arrived 10pm. I called reception and was brought a highchair 40 mins later. Then finally the portacot was brought but had no matress or bedding. But at this stage it was midnight so I had to put my 4 month old baby to sleep on the floor! The hotel also said they had wheelchair access but the lift to get down a couple of steps outside was out of order. So had to lift pushchair up and down.

United KingdomEntrance into apt carpet not good. Toiletries in tiny bottles difficult to get any contents out. No non slip mat in bath and shower over bath a bit feeble and difficult to control temperature. Listening to constant dripping outside bedroom window through the night was annoying.

AustraliaWe weren't advised it was a 2-storey unit. This made it very difficult for my two colleagues to negotiate the steep stairs because one is vision-impaired and the other has mobility issues. If we'd known it was 2-storey we would have selected a more appropriate room.
