The bathroom was very small and no vanity to place items. The bathroom was located right beside the bed like within 1m it was squishy and a bit weird having the bathroom so close to bed. The drain in the shower was broken and my son kept pulling it up and then falling in the hole. There’s an additional charge of $20 a night for a cot which was a bit much in my opinion so we brought our own. Some additional dish cloths/dishwashing liquid would have been handy.

Good size room and great kitchen facilities. Very accommodating staff allowing an early check in and late checkout free of charge. The bed is really comfortable and we had a nice view onto the street. It’s in a fantastic location but it’s also quiet we were able to sleep peacefully. Having an easily accessible laundry was also really useful for us

The room had no windows looking out only into a corridor. The shower and toilet was horrible looked like it had been added in and only a foot away from the bed

First night the bed was very uncomfortable as it dipped in the centre and also the tv was on a bracket but at a height that my husband hit his head on the corner of the tv. The bathrooms are tiny and get very wet when you used the shower. The foyer smelt strongly of curry which wasn’t pleasant

On arrival we waited in a queue for 15 minutes to check in and on the day we left we returned to collect our cases and again had to wait in the queue for 15 minutes. This had not happened at the 2 other previous Oaks locations I have stayed at over the past 2 years. Also we were given incorrect information about carpark which was embarrassing and took longer 😳

The dishwasher broke in the night and could not be stopped and we had to wait all day the next day for someone to actually disconnect the wiring to stop it. The window was to the hall everyone passes. Self contained except there was nothing to cook on or with. They offered to wash up as the dishwasher was broken and didn’t come until the day we were checking out and asked us to leave early so they could clean.

Heatpump wasn't working well, and bathroom was very compact. The floor was all hard (no carpet), and the bed was on wheels, so leaning against the headboard didn't end well...

Staff were excellent. Room was internal, so no natural light, but not a problem. Room was comfortable and well equipped, and very clean.

The shower pressure could have been better (not a deal breaker). The floorboards were creaky. Extra blankets and pillows within the room would have been preferred as we didn't want to bother the staff.

Loved the kitchen facilities available. The shower was nice and spacious. The lifts were nice and fast. AC was left on before arrival, which was lovely to walk into given the day's weather. Staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful.
