Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaAlthough the apartment was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was a bit small and the configuration of the apartment was off-putting. The bed was comfortable but a bit small and took up most of the floor space in the "bedroom" the kitchen/lounge area didn't seem a comfortable place to relax.
The apartment met our expectations. The price was right. We just needed a quiet place to sleep. It was very quiet there. We didn't spend much time there. It was a perfect location for activities at Southbank. We went to a concert and visited the NGV.

United KingdomThe 2 bed apartment was a little on the small side for 3 ladies, 2 of which travelling from the UK, so our suitcases had to stay in the lounge area. That being said, I also stayed in a 2-bed with my husband a few years ago and so used the second bedroom as a dressing room! Both bathrooms are really small though, and could do with some extra shelving for products. Again, 2 females sharing a small bathroom.....
We have stayed at the Oaks before when last visiting Melbourne, and weren't disappointed. It is a lovely apartment block, just off Southbank, so ideally situated for the city, river, trams. The staff were super helpful, and very nice!

Australia- Carpets due for replacement but not a major concern. All other features were new and maintained - Generally clean just a couple of surfaces (coffee table) were missed. - Couch was a bit uncomfortable and small for the space but no issue if you’re out and about most of your stay
- Great location, after arrival could walk to lots of great locations for meals etc - Parking was easy and secure - Staff very helpful and polite, great communication before and after arrival - Meet all amenity needs - Comfortable bedding, clean sheets and towels - Enjoyable views

AustraliaThe only concern that I had with the room especially in the kitchen area where the glasses and crockery was stored it was too high up in the cupboard and shelving as I am a small person and was unable to reach to get them down. I am glad that my husband was with me so that he could reach them for me. If my booking was just for myself then I would have had to call someone from the concierge desk to help reach the items in the kitchen. My comment is only for future reference.
The location was good and transport was easy to find . I was able to get around with the tram service that is used in Melbourne city. The room was good and spacious and was clean when we entered the room.

AustraliaWe thought that the room was abit small for a family of 4 considering it was a suite, one of the exhausts & door in the main onsuite bathrooms needs to be fixed.
The location was amazing, walking distance from restaurants, Crown Casino, a variety of shops & not to mention the CITY VIEW at night! On arrival the lovely receptionist was polite, friendly, her enthusiasm was very welcoming & assisted with my queries without any hesitation & with a smile, so thank you!

AustraliaNeeds more than a 2 seater couch in a 2 bedroom suite.
We stayed 3 nights with our two kids. The rooms are a little small, but they make do. We paid for a suite with a view and it did not disappoint. The only thing that would have been better is that it only had a two seater couch for a 2 bedroom apartment. A lounge with a chase would have been perfect. It’s very close to Southbank for dinning and there is parking, but it is an extra $39 a night. The lifts got a bit busy, but nothing crazy.
