The fans in the bedrooms could do with cleaning & the walk up the hill was horrendous

The pools, the kitchen amenities & that there were basics in the pantry. Apartment is walking distance to nightlife. The cockatoos that visit each morning & afternoon.

View was spectacular Very steep hill to get to it which on a hot day exhausting but the view counteracts the hill Whitehaven was amazing so definitely go there One pool was open with a juccuzi, which was nice other having maintenance done Nice area and would definitely come back

Walking up the hill after a night out was hard on the lungs and walking down was hard on the knees

The apartment itself was fantastic but the hill to walk back up from the shops was so steep! Recommend getting a taxi home if you’re bringing groceries from the Woolies at the base of the hill.

The location is perfect for beautiful views of the ocean. The shower water pressure is amazing!! The communication from the host was appreciated, calling to confirm we checked in smoothly and the little welcome pack with all the info on the area was great! Would definitley book with this host again.

No prior k owlefge of the steep hill side location. Might have helped us plan more around car hire if we had known when we booked. suggest adding a note for future holidayers! However the view was sensational!

The driveway into the premises had to much of an angle to get my vehicle up without damaging it so we parked on the street and carted the gear.

The world's steepest hill to get to the hotel. The furniture was a little dated. Didn't have any warm blankets so got a bit cold as it was raining the whole time we were there.

Loved everything else! The view was absolutely breath taking, you get to see the sunrise, all the islands and the sunset all from your balcony. The shower in the master was the best shower I've ever had. Slept like the dead. Super affordable. Really good location aside from the horrible hill.

Being over 70 the 200meter steep incline to the property was atoo much for us oldies. Okay if you are young and fit.We had to drive or use a taxi .But was worth it just for the views. Another problem was the noise that travelled from the unit above us through the floor. Sounded like they were dragging furniture around all night.

The house wasn’t cleaned even to a basic standard. There were ants on the day we arrived and my daughter (who is crawling) was dirty after playing on the floor. We ended up having to lay down a blanket for her to play on for the week. The property is on a very very steep hill - if you are a young family or someone with mobility issues just be aware that it is a difficult walk. This being said, you can get a cheap taxi (13cabs) from bottom to top very easily. Also, the view is worth the hill!

The view from the property was the best we have ever had, it was so beautiful and unobstructed. The apartment was very comfortable and the amenities where good.

The unit was not very clean. The toilet in main bathroom needs a good clean with bleach and a new toilet brush ventilator bathroom needs cleaning aircons needs a clean . beds where immaculate clean and comfy . There could be a bit more kitchenware plates/ cups etc

The cleanliness of the unit was ordinary unfortunately. The floors were grubby, the AC screens were filthy (i cleaned the lounge ones in the shower) and a big cockroach came out of the couch when we sat on it. The fridge had no door handle, there was no baking trays for the oven. The ensuite toilet had mould underneath the rim and the main bed had a slant on one side which made for an ordinary sleep for 3 days. Also don’t bring a big car cause there is nowhere to park as you can’t get a big SUV in the parking space provided and the visitor parks are fist in best dressed and tiny also. I hadn’t been to Airlie in over 10 years and to take my recently married wife and kids for our first holiday since before convid to a place i had such fond memories of only to be charged a fortune for an outdated unit and so many closed businesses was pretty sad really. I’m not usually one to bring up so many issues with somewhere we stay but we paid $1000 for 3 nights and honestly expected more.

The location was good except the hill with a toddler was impossible. The only good thing was the view. Kids loved the cockatoos
