How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would like to see the microwave up on the bench instead of on a low shelf under the bench. It was very awkward for us old folk to bend down to use it and very hard to read the controls when it was so low. I have knee problems and it was a bit tricky getting up the 3 concrete steps to the room without a hand rail.
The King spa suite was very roomy, bed was exceptionally comfortable, double shower was lovely with excellent water pressure. Lots of quality fluffy towels provided. Under floor heating in the bathroom area was wonderful, kept the temperature at a very cosy level. It was great to step out of the shower onto heated tiles. The room was clean and Basics (shampoo,, conditioner, body wash ) were all provided, plus tea coffee and milk. Just a short walk across the car park to the Bistro and a very big IGA supermarket was next door. Very nice place to stay and location was excellent. Didn't hear any noise from road traffic. When we had an issue with the toilet flushing (which turned our not to be an issue at all) staff were there within 10 minutes of reporting it. Furnishings were a little dated (but it is Ye Old Tudor Hotel!)😊 Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

It's not exactly the hotels fault but our room was next to some other rowdy guests being woken up at 12 midnight and kept awake till 330am wasn't exactly ideal especially with young kids
I couldn't fault anything great food amazing rooms the kids loved the pool

Carpets in front area/lounge room were well dirty with lots of spill marks all over, making room feel more dirty and aged than rest of room - rest of apartment looked great. Clean kitchen, clean bathroom and clean bedrooms.
Pub on site meant no cooking needed, pool for kids fun, parking at front door felt safe. Bit of a plus to have enough seating at dining table and lounge area for the 3 of us that booked to stay in the 2 bedroom apt - as have stayed elsewhere where compact really compromises - not so here. Kitchen and bathroom had plentiful supplies.

There was quite an awful smell coming from a drain in the bathroom.
The staff were incredibly kind and approachable.

Noisy people wandering through the complex late at night and early in the morning. It was quiet by midnight.
Close proximity to Silverdome where we were visiting over the weekend. Comfortable bed and lovely shower.

Close to shops. bedroom size is perfect for family. Good small kitchen. One negative, Washing machine was not working. No-one on reception after 7 pm.

It wasn't a problem but they don't do breakfast. The lovely lady at reception told us about a little Coffee Shop called Toast. It has amazing food and it's pretty much next door to the hotel.
Location, food, staff, ⁰and affordable prices. The lady at reception was wonderful.

The queen bed was a little uncomfortable.
It was a lovely new two-bedroom unit with kitchen facilities and a lounge. It was handy having the pub onsite for dinner.

15 min from City and Airport, close to shops & Bistro, clean spacious ground floor apartment with parking. Room has a mini kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine etc.
