The facilities in the rooms could've been better. For instance there was no lock in storage. I assumed if there's a storage space, there's definitely a lock as well! Lights weren't enough to read comfortably,

The location is perfect, walking distance from the metro and not far from major tourist locations. It was great value for money, the bedding, bathroom, canteen area was perfect! It was overall a good stay!

I would have preferred there stricter rules about where you could smoke. the top bunks had no privacy while the lower bunks did.

loved the atmosphere everyone was very friendly and courteous in the rooms. I was not expecting free dinner aswell and they were amazing Everything was clean and the bathrooms never smelled bad. There was so much information about what to do in Sydney I also loved how there was always people to talk to no matter how late

There was no air conditioner in the room, so it was too hot. The so-called breakfast was very miserable.

Can be noisy during the day and evening. People sitting outside the rooms chatting until late at night.

Private room is a good size and everything you need. Lots of pillows on the bed which is great. Excellent location for walking to places and close to the train/bus stations.

Room lacks ventilation and is very stuffy especially in the summer. There was no AC and only one small rotating fan in the room is not enough to cool everyone down, so most of the time we keep the door open to let the air in so privacy is compromised. It could be difficult to sleep at nights as it tends to get hot. Kitchen could be better maintained, and the cleanliness can be improved.

Staff was very accommodating, helpful and check in was not a hassle. No problem using the free wifi. Location is very convenient, walking distance to the train station, only a couple stations away from the city. Toilet is decently clean and you never have to wait long to use it. The hostel is very value for money, as long as you manage your expectations and be mindful of other occupants your stay should be great.

This is a classy place for backpackers and the staff is doing its utmost to keep the kitchen clean and tidy however, with the amount of traffic that comes through, it is impossible to expect spotless. It is expected that everyone cleans after themselves and contributes to keeping the kitchen and dining area clean however, this is not always the case.

The friendly staff is exceptional, so welcoming and accommodating. The location is unbeatable do is the value foe the money.

The hostel was right next to a train station which was super convenient. The bathrooms were very nice and had a lot of privacy.

Only fault is how hot the rooms can get, no air con or ceiling fan just a standing one. Can be hard on muggy nights!

Nice location, easy to travel the city without being too central. Free dinners 3 times a week are genuinely great and help you save on groceries! Nice common areas and loads of activities on, room spacious with a nice balcony.

As surely pointed out the last time too, I missed so much the presence of a socket next to my upper bed. Sockets are the most precious things a backpacker search for!!!!

It was not the first time here at this hostel. Came back and, as the first time, I'd appreciated the free breakfast in the morning

The room wasn’t very clean and could do with updating. I understand it’s a hostel and you get what you pay for but the fridge wasn’t cleaned, the bunk bed was mouldy and the bathroom had hairs etc still in there.

I liked the social aspect of the property and the value for money.

Seems like a really social hostel, they’ve got lots of activities going on and free breakfast every day 8-10am! Good facilities and nice vibe in the hostel, good location.

At night the outside of the building is very busy everyone standing around smoking and drinking, I guess because cannot sit inside at night. Was a bit annoying to walk through in order to get inside the building.

Quiet area away from the bars at night. Very close to Kings Cross station which is great and easy to walk around. Room was a good size and came with everything you need, fridge, safe, cups, plates etc. Was pretty quiet inside at night, had a private room which was good.

I stayed in a room with all the girls who stay long term. That means they keep all the lockers, shelves, space etc. for themselves. Would be definitely nice to leave some space for others as well.

Backpackers hostel near center of Sydney, location is just perfect. As name says "Backpackers hostel" you should expect backpackers conditions. That means sometimes noisy, sometimes quite. Sharing. Lots of people, place can get messy quite quickly but staff always try keep it clean which is definitely not easy. Saw them cleaning every day. Definitely helpful, welcoming and friendly staff. They didn't have a problem with my late check-in, they left me stay longer, kept my belongings in a storage for few days without any problem etc. Sweet deal for a short period.

In the evening it was loud there, because our room was near the common area and dining room. But it wasn't too bad and I fell asleep quickly.

I liked that people working there were helpful and even when our room wasn't waiting for us they offered us a luggage store and tea or coffee for free. And after a short time our room was ready. It was also very helpful that the place is near the public transport - we loved it!
