Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandMinor gripe with kitchen set up - no chopping board other than an A5 tiny one hidden in a cupboard plus non stick pan was definitely past its use by date and no longer non stick. It would have been nice if the outdoor pool was heated and swept for dead bugs more frequently

AustraliaThere was really nothing to complain about. Unfortunately the property opposite is currently a construction site and wasn’t a huge fan of being woken at 6.30am by a dozen concrete mixers rocking up but there not the fault of Oscars on Main
Loved the location, we were there for the swimming nationals and location is brilliant only a 5 min drive to the pool. Loved being able to walk around the corner, grab a coffee and then long beach walks each morning

AustraliaThe only thing that we didn't really like was the modern low style lounge, but this is just a personal dislike. Wherever you stay these days have the new modern low slung lounges, but for elderly people or people that have a back injury, it is really difficult to get up off the lounges. Again, this is just a personal thing, but should be considered when the units are being redecorated. We loved our stay at Oscar and will definitely return for another stay.
We loved everything. The unit was lovely and spacious and modern. The views were fantastic and we could see all around the Gold Coast. The beach was close enough to walk too, the facilities at the complex were great and the location was lovely and quiet and close to everything. Some great shops and restaurants in Tedder Ave, which are within walking distance to the apartment. We gad a problem with our air conditioning, and the staff on reception were fantastic and got it working for us. They were all so friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend them to anyone that wants somewhere to stay on the Golf Coast.

AustraliaWhat was clearly missing was a work desk to sit a laptop on, close to a powerpoint and a built-in USB charging point. These omissions were a surprise as it is 2024. I assume this building was constructed many years ago. I asked the receptionist to pass this information on to the owners. She was in full denial and kept repeating the apartment was intended for tourists, not business people (like me) and I could use the dining table for my laptop. It was nowhere near a powerpoint and inbuilt batteries only go so far when there is a lot of laptop work to do each day. It felt like business people are enemies from an undesirable species, especially those like me who do a lot of travelling and have used plenty of other visitor accommodation locations that do provide a desk and USB ports. My two day business event had many guests staying at this same apartment block which proves the receptionist wrong. Not having the skill of LISTENING to valuable feedback is a big career limiting move. Newsflash: Business people are tourists as well. And families/tourists today use laptops and other tech devices. I improvised and pushed the TV along on its low side table to fit the laptop on the corner, next to a powerpoint. My knees could not fit under this bench top with its shelving below. This meant badly slouching over for hours at a time to reach the keyboard for the five day stay to catch up on work. I hope the apartment owners are reading this. It is a simple fix to prevent really annoying your guests. The apartment is big enough to fit a small desk in. The room cleaner should deal with the buildup of old toothpaste accumulated over time around the base of the bathroom basin tap from many previous guests. Last thing, the aluminium frypans provided in the kitchen do not work on induction cooktops.
The self contained apartment was large and comfortable. The tourist trips I booked during this stay had their vans pick up and drop off at this location.
