Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaI didn’t really like lunch and dining options, they are quite limited, and overall value for price was below of expected. This is a price that you have to pay for unique location and limited overall service offering in the area.
All stay was good, the quality of room was even higher than expected: room was clean, comfortable, with all amenities. Staff people polite and helpful. Transfer services work very well.

United KingdomEverywhere except for the supermarket and Petrol station is cashless and this could cause a problem for overseas visitors who do not have access to credit cards that do not charge transaction fees. Also each card transaction has a fee attached to it at the various facilities.
The Hotel was in a very good position for our needs and the room was very clean and comfortable. The Air Conditioning was exceptional and necessary. The facilities were acceptable and as we were only there for 2 nights we managed to see and do all we wanted to. The free shuttle ran very well but note that it only starts at 10.30. The "Town Square" is where all the shopping facilities, the Art Gallery and Restaurants are situated and easily accessible either by walking vis the Shuttle service. The pick up for each trip and the transfers to and from the airport ran smoothly and took you door to door. Very efficient.

United KingdomIt's not that I didn't like it. But I thought the pictures were a little misleading. As I was under the impression, the barbecue was something. We could bring our own food too. It is not. It's part of their restaurant. which is definitely worth it, but I just wanted to make sure people were aware. It's not a self-catering thing. That being said, there is a guess kitchen. You could use it, but it was so hot in there we didn't even try.
After seeing all of the other hotels in the resort, I'm glad we picked the outback. It was much more laid back than the others but had all of the same facilities. We had a power cut our first night there and with no air con. It was unbearable , but the staff moved us to another hotel that still had power. I think they must have had a problem with our pool before we arrived as they were doing lots of work on it. It was really cloudy, and I'm not sure the filters were working , but by the third day we were leaving , it was clear and clean.

GermanyExcellent rooms, modern, well-kept, spacious. Only a few kilometers away from the entrance to the national park - there is no other accomodation closer to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. The restaurants are outback-style - a bit rustic you could say, but that seems appropriate if you are in a location like this. There is a "kiosk" where you can get pizza, burgers, salads and fries (called chips, as we are in the commonwealth) - and a meat-shop, where you can buy some meat and grill it yourself - to be eaten accompanied with salads from the buffet and potatos. They also sell wine be the bottle (only place in Ayers Rock where you can get wine it seems).

United StatesWe liked everything! If we had one small suggestion it would be to have an option to include breakfast in your total cost but that's more of a suggestion and not a complaint.
Uluru as a whole was so unique and we loved it! The Outback Hotel was in a great location and the AC worked great which we really needed (it was 107 degrees for all 3 nights of our stay!) They also had awesome shops, free educational workshops, and a free bus that ran every 20 minutes to take you to different places throughout Uluru. We would absolutely recommend the Outback Hotel if you are planning a trip to Uluru!
