There was a bit of a mixup with our booking. It included dinner, but the staff said it didn’t until I showed them the booking. When we got the dinner, the food was actually amazing. We really enjoyed it. It was authentic home-cooked Indian food, and I would eat there again given the opportunity. The bed was a little bit hard for my liking, but my partner liked it.

The room was very large and spacious. It was very clean. Reasonably modern bathroom. The tv had Netflix. Very quiet.

The presentation of the restaurant lacks refinement - don't get me wrong, the food can not be beaten but the dining room needs freshening up with a paint job, new flooring, curtains, fittings etc to create the comfortable ambiance of dining out. The deluxe units ere spacious.

The food cooked on site in the restaurant is unbeatable. The restaurant is run by exceptional chefs experienced in cooking a diverse range of regional dishes. All dishes were cooked using fresh ingredients... I love to cook authentic Indian myself and I could not fault the food. We took 5 weeks to drive from Qld to Adelaide and back stopping off in most regional towns in NSW. I have fond memories of Hay due to staying here. If I lived in Hay I would sample all dishes and 'eat' my way through the menu.

Restaurant was closed by the time I arrived. My fault. Remote control batteries were flat so no TV.

Very clean and generous luxury rooms. Would try the cheaper rooms though

The weather was extremely hot and the air con struggled, its right near the main road but the noise wasnt too bad, and there is no pool. Its not luxury but its clean and theres nothing bad to say but I probably will choose a motel with a pool next time.

It was okay. Nothing wrong, a bed for the night, it was clean. Staff are making an effort to provide good service.

The back sliding door was broken and couldn't lock, that's the only thing I can think of.

This was a quaint hotel. Wonderful staff. They offered me a free plate of butter chicken it was soooooo yummy 😋 If you need to stop over in Hay this is a perfect spot to stay. I stayed with my daughter and we really likes it.

It was as good as expected, value for money, warm, comfortable bed. Filled our need, but the key wouldn't fit into the Key Return box. A small light there might help though.

It was warm and comfortable. After a long days drive, that is all we wanted.

No drinking glasses in the room, only coffee cups, had to go get another towel as only one was provided but not a deal breaker at all.

We were more than happy with the motel, we were only there to sleep, on check-in we asked about where we could find something to eat for dinner. Our Host told us of a great place - directly across the street at the South Hay Hotel! (If you are there on a Monday night - its Lamb Cutlet night!) Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable the shower has a leak but I'm sure that will be fixed for next time. Most importantly the air-conditioning was quiet and adequate on a hot summer Hay night.

Smelly pillows, obviously very old (well used) and in need of replacement, I had to wrap the pillow in a sarong to minimise the odour. Shame as the rest of the stay was fine.

Most as would be expected - average. Polite reception.

Fridge needed to be colder. Water jug in fridge was empty. Needs a facelift on the outside. Decor is dated but it's fine for a stopover. No map of the town/info about eateries in the room.

Air-con excellent, and it was in when we arrived on a hot day. Very clean. Friendly welcome. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Plenty of suitcase space.
