Not being able to stay longer! Otherwise we have no complaints. Everything was fantastic.

Paddy's Retreat was amazing. Irene met us on our arrival and was super friendly and helpful. A delicious bottle of red wine and chocolates with a lovely hand-written greeting was left for us. Outstanding and very thoughtful, especially after a long day of travel.

There was a hand written card welcoming us with a bottle of wine & chocolate. The village is beautiful in a stunning location near everything you need. The gardens are perfect for enjoying in the sun (even in winter!).

The access to the property is problematic for anybody with mobility issues. I was able to access the property through the back entrance but with great difficulty. I believe this could be improved by installing a gently sloping ramp from the back deck around the side of the cottage to the front without doing any damage to the landscaping because at the moment there are steps and a very narrow pathway to the side of the house without any railing to hold onto. I needed the help of my partner to safely navigate. The front steps were completely inaccessible for someone who like myself may have knee or hip problems.

The cottage itself is well positioned, well appointed and well stocked with essential items.

Host is super kind and warm welcome. They provide all utilities needed in the kitchen and also bbq on the desk. I really love this place and wanna be here again.

The kettle needed replacing but it was resolved with the hosts.

The location is gorgeous, nestled in a residential area of the Dandenong Ranges and close to Belgrave's main street of shops and restaurants. The property itself is clean and very cozy — the photos don't do it justice! It has everything you need for breakfast and cooking. The beds are sooo comfy it was hard for us to wake up! Ben & Irene were very responsive and even provided a bottle of wine for us to enjoy, and also turned the heater on prior to our arrival. It's a perfect location for a weekend getaway from the city. We will be back!

just the most beautiful setting, surrounded by ferns, magnolias and a babbling brook. Inside tastefully decorated and the beds! Oh so comfy.

Location was very private. Beautiful surrounds with a cute little creek running alongside the house. House is very well presented and very clean. Kitchen was equipped with everything required for preparing meals. Breakfast provisions handy too. Outdoors space was lovely for meals and relaxing. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful setting, great for families who want to be in a nature setting but still close to nearby towns & attractions, shops & cafes. The house was very clean & had all the essentials so we could cook & eat outdoors for some of our stay. The small creek running through the gardens as a lovely sound to hear at night. Irene & Ben were friendly hosts who kept us updated about our stay. This is a fantastic property for the very reasonable cost.
