Our particular room, Surgeon White, was very tiny. Had to store some of our luggage in the office. And the office is rarely staffed, so if there were problems you’re mostly on your own. Was a little pricey given the room size

Location was great, easy walk to the bridge and downtown. Neighborhood was charming and quiet. Pub downstairs had nice beer and decent food. The old building had lots of character and charm.

Property completely met our expectation, nothing we were unhappy with.

Very clean rooms, good view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Easy access to The Rocks where we were attending a function. Friendly organised staff on arrival.

Our visit to Henry Deane for dinner. Rude & condescending front of house staff. No acknowledgement of the reason for us being there (anniversary) Made to feel unwelcome for the duration of our 2 hour sitting

funky space with a great vibe in a cool hotel, well located within walkable distance of ferry, Barangaroo, Rocks precinct and restaurants. Super comfortable bed

I like the simple experience of an old-school room with easy access and away from the hustle, yet still within walking distance. Plus it has great history, along with incredible 360 views from it's bar and restaurant!!

Nothing, it was great

What a great hotel and staff. The room we had (George Powell) was huge, quirky and spacious.Bed was big and very comfortable. Ideal position to explore the Rocks, circular Harbour and Darling Harbour which is a must. Beautiful park right next door. The bar downstairs is great for beer and food.

Step into bathroom is a toe breaker Stained wool blanket on bed light beside bed broken & hanging die. Light globe blown in large lamp No instructions on working Marshall sound system No tea towel Toilet brush holder absolutely disgusting

Arriving out of hours, I retrieved my keys from the keysafe as instructed. Unfortunately the key to outside door didn't work, luckily the bar was still open so I could access my room. One of the toilets in the bar had a faulty lock and I feared imprisonment before it finally let me out. Both things duly reported, but "oh yes, that happens" was the response from the otherwise friendly member of staff

Convenient location for my needs, 10mins walk down to The Rocks and cruise terminal Huge studio type apartment rather than just a bedroom Well stocked bathroom and kitchen area with mini bar Seating area and table and chairs Luckily my room had an air-conditioning unit, but I believe these are only in the larger rooms due to historic nature of The Palisade. Very interesting book about it's history in the sesting area of my room Staff kindly looked after my cases after checkout while I explored

I wish I would have realized how small the room was. We could barely move around the room with our two medium size suitcases. the bathroom was also very small.

The room was small, but the balcony was lovely. The bar/restaurant on the first floor was awesome. Great drinks & bar food. The restaurant on the top floor had great views. The food was tapas style, the service was first rate.
