Room was very dated Location wasn't great It felt a bit far out from the main part of cairns. I had to get taxis to and from which counteracted the saving i made on the room. I could have just got one nearer the city centre.

That there wasn't secure car parking overnight

Fast and friendly service. Very well kept and clean hotel. Room was perfect and super conformable. Didn't get the chance to jump in the pool but looked very inviting. Will have to stay longer in the future.

Desk staff was not too friendly upon early arrival in the morning, just saying our room wouldn't be ready till 3 pm.

There is free parking on site. A good view of the pool and internal courtyard from the balcony. We were given a second attached room, with kitchenette but no air-conditioning, so we shut the connecting door. The motel is older, but is clean and serviceable.

That the only place to hang your towel was above the toilet, if there was a towel rack on the side wall or a couple of hooks on the back of the door then I would have given the place a 10/10.

It was absolutely beautiful, both pools were gorgeous and a great temperature, it was clean and very comfortable.

The front staff needs to be a little bit nicer to accommodate the travellers. Cant even say a good morning even we said first.

Clean swimming pool open until late. The cleaners were so great and kept nice and clean. Very convenient to travel and go shopping.

The only downside to the configuration of the room is that one single bed is directly in line with the AC and one bed is around a corner, so one child was cold and the other hot. But this really can't be helped.

The Palm Royale met our needs perfectly. The room had enough space for our family of 4 for one night. It was comfortable, the bathroom was new and clean and the location near the airport was convenient. The coffee and juice van across the road was super yummy too.

It is a bit away for central Cairns. We had a rental car so no issue but you will want transportation if staying here.

The pool was amazing. We requested a main floor room and it was great for the kids to have easy access to the pool.

The traffic is noisy but it did not keep us awake or interfere with my family's sleep. The air-conditioner made a terrible high pitched sound that woke us up early in the morning, on two occasions.

Polite staff, beautiful pools, beautiful gardens, small shopping plaza across the road, 24 hour reception, nightly security patrols,towels and soaps replaced daily and the room tidied.

Not enough soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bahroom, (only 1 small tube of each were provided). No restaraunt on site. No screen on the bathroom window. The facility appears to be quite old and in need of renovation. Poor shower water pressure. No convenience stores, restaraunts in the immediate vicinity.

I think it is quite difficult to find good quality, reasonably priced accomodation in Cairns. But I tbought that this property was clean and also not too expensive for a one night stay while passing through. The room in which I stayed had been very well cleaned. The staff members were professional and helpful. The pool was larger than I had expected.
